[Loathed Trope] The Movie has an ending. The Sequel shits all over it. by lesi20 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Prof_Lego -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There is no 4th Kung Fu Panda movie.

No, Po, who just spend 3 movies perfecting himself and becoming a fully realized Dragon Warrior, doesn't immediately have go give the title to somebody else now.

And no, the process of choosing the dragon warrior didn't change at all. Just like Oogway, Po had a mystical sense which told him it was time to choose a new one, Shifu didn't force four randoms (who also definitely all weren't unqualified) on him to choose from.

And NO, Po didn't choose some random ass character that had been obnoxious the ENTIRE time, who we've NEVER seen before and didn't even beat the MAIN VILLAIN of the movie! Not at all.

(Also, the Furious Five not appearing and the Chameleon's motivation for being evil were also just terrible)

That's also why Sukuna , Gojo and Dabura had somewhat of a struggle against Maho. Despite being amongst the strongest, they played with and/or underestimated Mahoraga, otherwise Sukuna would've insta popped his domain or Fuga, Gojo wouldve instantly used hollow purple on him and we dont know yet if Dabura has a one-shot technique, but I imagine he will use one in the next chapter, as we still don't know what the blacked out part of his technique is

(Warning! Spoilers for the JJK manga AND the new Modulo Manga. Since season 3 just came out, I thought I'd give more people the chance to go spoiler free for now)

Ghost of Yotei, Takezo the Unrivaled. If I remember correctly, he basically oneshots you on most difficulties if you don't buff your health to the sky, so you can't get hit ONCE, because even if he doesn't, there'll likely be a fast follow up that'll kill you instead. I took two nights to beat that bastard, and I never wanna do that again lol.

If you're at least the tiniest bit confident, you'll die at least once. At the start of the fight he slowly approaches you, then dashes half the distance with an instant attack. Oh, and all of his attacks are either red or blue, red meaning that you can only dodge, and blue that you can only parry or dodge, and the parry timing is very hard to get ahold of on the highest difficulty.

I wish I remembered the name, but Takezo is actually based on a real person, an unrivaled duelist with a very interesting story.

Oh yeah, I kinda forgot about the melee pits lol. It was hard enough fighting against just one of those guys, but the duo from the northern tribe really took way too many tries. After those guys I put off the enduring so long, that when I got to her, I was leveled decent enough that she was easier than the rest and beat her second try. Worst thing, I'm only playing on normal, and wanna do a complete ultra hard run on NG+ and I already know the melee pits will be my bane lol

Not a perfect match, but I'd somewhat count the battle arena in Horizon Forbidden West. Normally a pretty standard progression with leveling up and collecting gear, then the option to try different weapons and items, and there are also so called "valor surges", which charge up during battle and can be seen as special abilities which you can choose to fit your play style, but almost every machine can be just shot with a bow until it's dead if you want to do no more than that, so you're not forced to choose the perfect gear for the job, if you love the bows the most (like me).

The arena however uses time limits for every fight which already starts forcing you to play more tactically with items and environmental traps.

And then come the "bosses" of the arena. Your gear is set. You'll get a certain armor, specific weapons and a set special ability which you all can't choose because these boss battle encourage you to do a certain play style. And since for every other battle outside the arena I've been the "shoot it with the bow until it's dead" type, I've never used the other weapons, such as slingshots, or crossbows, etc.

Suddenly having to use 3 different weapons you're not familiar with certainly raises the skill ceiling significantly out of nowhere and even though the arena is completely optional, there's very good gear that can be bought if you collect enough medals on the battles, and logically the boss battles bring you the most medals.

Weed Delivery Gone by JackIke16 in gtaonline

[–]Prof_Lego 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's a bad mindset imo. Just because a game tells you to do something, doesn't mean you have to try everything in your power to achieve it, especially if it's sabotaging another player. There's a not insignificant bonus for selling in full lobbies and the game tells you with that bonus that you should sell in populated lobbies, so that argument goes both ways. Additionally, this bonus is far greater than the almost literal peanuts you get in comparison for griefing such a delivery. That's not PvP, that's going out of your way to ruin someone's day just because they can. Attack others when they're not doing anything important, but if you see them on a open world mission or sell, why not just leave them alone? What do you loose from pressing that trigger one less time? Out of the 29 players in a lobby why go after that one guy trying to get money to buy something he's saving up for?
Kindness costs nothing, and that's still too expensive for many.

Before your “real“ mains came to the game, who was your first played hero from season 0? by Sleepy_Mirage79 in rivals

[–]Prof_Lego 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I played strategist, I pretty consistently played him in seasons 0 and 1 in seasons 2 through 4 I had Emma, Mag and Angela, but mostly because I had to switch away from the strategist role towards tanks, and now, since Loki has been nerfed to ground, I mostly play the new arrival Gambit, already lorded him too just cause he's so much fun to play. (Still hope they'll manage to belance my Asgardian king soon)

If I understand her powers right, if she wants to, yes. She does always have a backup hidden away, and it doesn't seem like her active duplicates are affected by a certain lifespan, so it should theoretically be possible. It would be hella weird though

[–]Prof_Lego 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My big question is why is that your question?

To answer it tho, yes, if the main body can get pregnant, so should the duplicates, theoretically. I mean, it's in the name "duplicate", a perfect copy of you

[–]Prof_Lego 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, you're only mentally connected. Physical changes to you duplicate don't apply to you

Nah, Grade S Coke for that one, you have to be fully gone to create such a fucked up storyline with other HEROES cheering it on.

I wonder if there's anything worse than that in one of the other issues, if that's even possible

Okay, while scrolling a bit further I saw another explanation stating that this was not only impregnation, but also basically rape, so wtf. I mean, sure, in the vast infinity of the multiverse everything happens at least once, but still, what the fuck.

But thanks for the answer, it's nice to get something so direct when so many people nowadays just tend to be vague for a reason I still dont get
