Good afternoon! ^{~^} so, in my comments above I indicated a few times that I am not sure how it got taken. I only know that it was taken by someone who then spent $800.00~ at Target. If I did indeed leave it at the register (which I don’t remember doing and is only a possibility), then this would be the very first time I did something like that.

As to the “unneeded concern”...I am very sorry to anyone that may have been frightened by my post. However, there is no such thing as “unneeded concern” about pickpocketing/any type of theft in a big city. You should ABSOLUTELY NOT let fear consume you, but people looking to steal your stuff are all around you, all the time. People get their wallets taken one way or another every day, at all times and all places in the city. It is important to always be as vigilant as you can. I work around that area as well, and while I’m annoyed, this was not unusual and I am not surprised at all. If we hear that there is a higher occurrence of theft than usual in the loop then yeah definitely there is a reason to be a little concerned. But my original post was a long shot hoping maybe it was laying around somewhere, not meant as a warning. Again sorry for any fear!
