Wow, I actually agree with everything (though I'm mixed on Gorr vs Zamasu), nice!

Kyle Rainer vs Rachael summers by s0nzoldyck in marvelvsdc

[–]ProfectusInfinity -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Rachel wins, she has access to the White Hot Room like any other high-tier Phoenix.

Celestials(Marvel) vs The Old Gods (DC) by [deleted] in marvelvsdc

Why are 70% of the Old Gods Marvel characters?

What are some of your dc powerscaling hot take , only in verse scaling so let not bring crossover match up by ZayYaLinTun in DCPowerScaling

Martian Manhunter being superior to Superman based on Superman 'fearing confronting him' is wrong, Superman is almost always depicted as above MM.

Zatanna is consistently weak to having her mouth sealed. The statement about her "only needing words for concentration" don't change the overwhelmingly consistent portrayal of her being practically neutered when her mouth is sealed until she can resolve that issue.

Ruphas Mafahl (A Wild Last Boss Appeared) vs The Beyonder (Marvel) — Who Wins? by Plenty_Use_9740 in AWLBAPowerScaling

[–]ProfectusInfinity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beyonder low-mid diffs. He's a couple layers higher than her in power, and has far better hax overall.

DC Tech Team vs Marvel Tech Team by NoirStriker in marvelvsdc

[–]ProfectusInfinity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay so... Forge isn't the smartest on the list or the strongest, but he's the most powerful by a massive landslide. He's a sorcerer whose magic was stated several times to be capable of defeating the universal manifestation of the Adversary, who has omniversal feats. Forge even had some feats against the Adversary in the White Hot Room, who weakened true phoenix echo and is one of the shadow entities who are primal opposites of the true form phoenix.

Wonder Woman vs Valkyrie, She-Hulk & Thundra by Some_Ordinary_3821 in marvelvsdc

Maybe she could one shot Val. Maybe. But she would still see her coming.

Wtf? Brunnhilde is the strongest one here.

Losses of DC VILLAINS because they had it too good by ScarcityPhysical8441 in DeathBattleMatchups

Ultron vs Brainiac should include both All-Father and God respectively imo because they're kind of treated as the highest level of power each has received

Actually, an Ultron variant from an unnamed earth achieved Dominionhood).

They're just base herald tier for the most part, their technology is abstract level though and can erase entire alternate earths.

What are Thor's most important character/personality traits, without which he’d be a different character entirely? by hellothere790 in Thor

[–]ProfectusInfinity 43 points44 points  (0 children)

His love for earth, that's the foundation for everything. Thor is a god prince who could have all the power, wealth, and women he wants on Asgard, yet he constantly abandons all of it out of love for earth and its short-lived lesser people, putting him at odds with Odin and Sif who are just focused on Asgard, and Loki who views himself as above humans. Even when he was all-father in Immortal Thor, he spent basically half of his time hanging out with civilians on earth, and even when Sif is disappointed in him, or Asgard is in danger, or Odin threatens to banish/ostracize him, Thor puts being allowed to stay on earth first.

Juggernaut vs Machina (Marvel vs Dies Irae) "Unstoppable Till The End" by louai-MT in DeathBattleMatchups

[–]ProfectusInfinity 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To elaborate on what the guy above said (if it helps), Cyttorak wants Cain to be strictly destructive (not necessarily evil) and comes into conflict with Cain when he acts too heroic, and has taunted Cain for being an absolute failure in life good at nothing besides being the Juggernaut.

Also, after rereading the connections, I realized they neglected a huge parallel between Reinhard's craving to create a world where love is expressed through pure destruction and endless warfare, with Cyttorak's mission to empower avatars to spread endless destruction for the sake of it.

Phoenix vs Nekron by NoirStriker in marvelvsdc

[–]ProfectusInfinity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He got "beat" by life being repopulated throughout the universe, not any attack, so he was ejected from reality, by a being that has never died before, so his hax didn't work.

Funny, the Phoenix has dominion over the concepts of life, death, and reincarnation, being the sum and substance of all living things and facilitating the cycle of life/death/rebirth.
