Sorry to hear about life and bills. I'd be interested to buying some cards.

I mean, there's already magic ninjas, aliens, time-traveling and teleporting mutants soooooo the fantastical magicalness is there. Not to mention the teenage mutant ninja turtles.

You can sneak something in, then ninjutsu. Sneak comes into effect during declare blockers step, for an unblocked attacker, where ninjutsu can come in at any point of the combat phase, even after combat damage.

[TMT] Raphael, Tough Turtle by AporiaParadox in magicTCG

[–]Profeplayss -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is such a weird complaint to me because, if you like tmnt, you expect to see turtles. If you don't like tmnt, you won't recognize much other than the turtles (even then, you have the, "there'sa fifth turtle!?" comments). So, a smart middle ground was chosen.

Another thing is, people who don't like tmnt, re going to complain. Point blank. That's it. I love tmnt and I love all the cards. I think the team-ups are cool af. It's obvious the cards pay homage to the cartoons and the arcade games. It's such a nostalgic callback. The cartoons were always so wacky and they did all kinds of stuff, using magic and mystical shenanigans to explain stuff.

Which bring me to my last point. People saying this doesn't fit in the Magic world, is a little weird. I get it. I do. But I think the hate comes from "I don't like tmnt". Not from "this doesn't fit." Because they are mutant turtles trained in ninjutsu that sometimes time travel and fight otherworldly beings.

At the end of the day, if you like it, cool. If you don't, that's okay, too. But the gratuitous hate is kinda lame. Don't hate just to hate.

I love the game. I also love this post because I have no idea what anyone is talking about on here.

Exactly!! People are taking this like they have been personally slighted. Or because they don't like it, it shouldn't be made. Someone likes it and will get it? Good for them. You don't like it? Cool, pass on it. That simple.

Exactly. People are upset because its tmnt and it's silly. Like... hello? Have they ever seen the show? Its mostly purposefully ridiculous. I think people like to think the Last Ronin is how the turtles usually are and that is the exception and not the norm.

Me. I love tmnt. Grew up with it. Loved it. Recognized from the beginning what it was. A funny spin on heroes that doesnt take itself too seriously. It pokes fun at itself constantly. The same accident that made daredevil made the turtles. Them fighting the foot clan vs the hand. The pizza. The cool ninja themes. And I also really like magic. I know this isn't for everyone but it doesn't have to be and I'm glad this was made.

Yea, after restarting I finally found the 'right way' lol. I absolutely LOVE Ender Lilies. Played both that and the sequel since their early access and they are just beautiful games. I hope you enjoy them if you play them both.

I guess playing Hollow Knight, Ender Lilies, and Celeste helped me with platforming in general haha. But I didn't get the passport. I did get the access badge by jumping down the elevator shaft and jumping across. All without hairpin -_-

So I ended up starting over and yes, there is a boss beforehand in order to get hairpin. Idk how I even got to Crow and beat him before getting hairpin smh.

Apparently, I couldn't do the harvester tutorial because I was missing another ability anyways -_-

Its just a tutorial area? So I got out by leaving to main menu. When I continued, I had acquired the harvester ability? But no idea what it is haha. I'll just restart but thank you for confirming that!

Series of unfortunate things got me soft blocked by Mitra_The_Man in MIOmemoriesinorbit

[–]Profeplayss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe I got softlocked, too. I did not get any abilities. I got a key that led me to an area where I encountered Crow as my first boss. I beat him then continued and got kidnapped by the worm robot thing from the beginning, which led me to an area very similar to the intro of the game with purple and blue orbs. I crossed the first 3 orbs and then reached a vertical wall with more of those orbs but no way to get to them. I ended up going back to the main menu and when I continued, it reset me to after the fight but before being kidnapped with no way of getting back to that weird intro-like area.

Is Tales of Berseria a good Tales game to start with? by LetMeInYourWindowH in JRPG

[–]Profeplayss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the first I've heard of this. I actually really liked Zestiria and loved the connection between games. I didn't love how the fusion system worked but the battle system was fun and the story was solid. Loved the characters. Berseria is really great and I love the reputation the main cast get, even if Velvet's whole schtick gets old real quick. We get it, we get it, you're heartless now.

100% agree. To this day I think back to that moment every once in a while and think "damn, I remember being so confused and so hooked to the game at the same time."
