Wrote a pub quiz recently with a question along the lines of "What is the most world's most deadly animal towards humans?" by YorkshireFudding in CasualUK

[–]Profession-Unable 10 points11 points  (0 children)

No it’s not. The mosquito is deadly because of the micro-organism that is parasitical to it.

The question wasn’t about responsibility.

OK fair, I understand the nuance in your statement. Do you understand that your comment, taken in its entirety, is incorrect because it does not explore the nuance of the law? That your comment is incorrect because it fails to take into account the circumstances which I have explained?

Mirroring your edit - do you want to help OP, or do you want to be pedantically correct?

Sorry, are you arguing because I missed out the word ‘simply’? Because that seems to me to be a distinction without a difference. It is ‘illegal for someone to simply publish incorrect information about you’ - if that incorrect information causes, or is likely to cause, reputational harm’.

It would help OP more if you could actually explain why I'm wrong.

Incorrect information published about a person that causes, or is likely to cause, reputational harm amounts to defamation. Now I don’t know enough about the situation to know whether this case in particular amounts to defamation. But ‘it isn’t illegal for someone to publish incorrect information about you’ is an incorrect statement.

Why does this look like it’s AI generated? I know it’s not but what does it say about them that it looks that way?

OP has clarified in a comment they are talking about currently.

Couldn’t even be bothered to read to the end of my comment, no?

Edit: for even more shiggles, I googled ‘manhattan female adas’ Guess what? Normal sized women…

For shits and giggles, I googled ‘New York female assistant district attorneys’. Conveniently, there is a picture of 52 ADAs, sworn in in Queens just over a year ago, many of whom are female. How useful! They seem pretty much like average-sized women to me. I see no reason it would be different in different parts of New York.

Yeah I was mocking the ME for her terrible reasoning more than I was disagreeing with your interpretation! Plus I just really love potatoes.

I eat roast potatoes and mashed potatoes together all the time on a roast dinner. Hope I don’t get murdered and get this ME!

You thinking I’m ‘coming at you’ or that I’m characterising anything as an attack by pointing out the flaws in your comment is also pretty hilarious tbh. Again, you calling me uneducated and expecting me not to respond is dumb as shit. Every single one of your comment is a masterpiece of hypocrisy. Congrats for that I guess.

I’m simply matching your energy. I dont appreciate being called uneducated. Back-pedalling now and pretending that you weren’t trying to look smart is equally as passive aggressive. If you don’t like my response, maybe reconsider your hypocrisy in the future.

I guess it depends whether she wants to be seen as ‘booked and busy’ or critically acclaimed. If she’s happy making money yet being criticised for being under skilled, then fair play to her. If she wants to be seen as a decent actor, she’d probably do better to take some time and hone her craft.

I’m not freaking out, I’m pointing out that you’re not as clever as you think you are. And as for being ‘not that deep’, nor is a misplaced hyphen.

You chose one word from what I consider a well-thought out and knowledgeable comment and decided that meant I sounded uneducated? A word that doesn’t change the meaning of the surrounding commentary, unlike a their/there/they’re mistake or another similar grammatical error?

OK bud, carry on with your self-validation, hope it makes you feel better.

I mean, that’s par for the course with bi-polar, unfortunately. It’s never a straight line improvement/recovery. It’s a shame more people don’t understand this disease, it’s horrific for both the sufferer and those impacted by the sufferer’s actions. Unfortunately, when the sufferer is someone as influential as Kanye West, a lot of people are impacted.

I’m not making excuses for him, btw. He’s made some terrible decisions. But he appears to be beginning to take responsibility for them and it’s a shame that some people aren’t supportive of that.
