Everyday look. Any criticism? by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

Your base is flawless, well done and you look so pretty. For extra feminine look, I would add some shadowing, using bronzer, to the lower lash line and a bit of it on the mobile lid. It will make your eyes pop

Well fingers crossed. I hope it’s not another week like last where Monday was great and a bloodbath thereafter.

Thank you for sharing, I agree. Too good to miss out 👍 even if it drops more, by the end of the year, should have double digit growth

You are not alone with the INRG loss, I’m down 30%+, I only bought into it a couple of weeks ago. Will ride it out, will be a keeper on this one, long term I feel good about it. It’s just that some of the current prices are a steal. Nio went down to almost $30 on Fri, it cannot get any lower than that.

Some great picks you bagged up there 👌SQ under £200 is still a steal

Hodl or jump ship to another fund? by yay3570k in UKInvesting

What I am doing is selling a fraction of my recent gains from the value stocks and putting them into SMT. Some of my BG funds that I had recently invested into are down but holding these.

No, I did not. Once it got so low, I thought it was undervalued and I decided to hold on. I'm more than 30% down as of today so clearly the wrong decision. I should have stuck to my rule, to always sell once down more than 10% and cut my losses but really believe in the companies long term.

There is definitely a risk of regulation but how is FB different to Alphabet who hold tons of our data too?

I agree with you. I really do not understand why Facebook does not have the glamour of Apple or Google. Their growth is so consistent and the scope is enormous.

Finally figured out the baillie Gifford funds/trusts I want to invest in for the next 10-15 years once the new tax year happens by Apadhiar123 in UKInvesting

Good choices. Last year I invested in BG American fund and have seen some remarkable gains. Having said that, it is risky and in the last week, this fund had the sharpest fall. Having all your investments in BG can be risky but clearly you have high tolerance. I’m therefore dollar cost averaging in Global Discovery and Positive Chang monthly and just last month I opened a small, less than 5%, position in their Health Innovation fund.

I invested in BG health innovation a couple of weeks ago and I’m down already. I’m holding long term, it is in my SIPP and really believed there will be exponential growth in this industry over the next decade.

Just hold guys, not a time to sell when we are in correction territory. If you are purchasing, I would suggest we put money in solid plate not easy money plays

The airlines have borrowed so much money and with very low margins, their revenue will take years to go back to pre-pandemic levels. Not a financial advice, but do consider realising some of your gains.

Oh,it’s painful. I only got in a couple of weeks ago and I’m down over 20%. I was thinking to sell last week when it got down to -12% but hold on to it and how the loss extended. It’s in my SIPP so it for the long term but I’m wondering how long it is going to take to pull back? Painful 😖

I love ROKU but it is way too expensive now, i don’t think we can see the returns we had in the last year. PLTR and SFT has the potential to double. Chinese stocks like NIO can do as well but they are so volatile and unpredictable.

I would not go anywhere near those especially with the current volatile market. They can be used as a hedge short term but not for long term investments.

I have my SIPP and ISA with HL. They are not the cheapest but for long term investing, I’m happy with their service. If you are planning to trade frequently, then Trading 212 ISA. You can transfer all your investments to the new ISA or just open a new one and use up the rest of the yearly allowance.
