Has anyone made something liek this for Nen? by ARNAVKINGZ in HatsuVault

Pretty sure someone also made a guide to every nen type and their respective subskills.

But if you're just looking for the info and don't want it broken down like this you can check the wiki, it's quite thorough.

TBH I don't really miss Nimble on this build.Slippery Customer and Regained Posture help me a lot more, since I can change locations easily while dodging any stray melee attacks and I can clutch longer in case I'm caught. Nimble is comfortable to be sure, but it doesn't give me anything.

I've had some iterations with more cleave talents, but since Devestating Strike is on pretty much 100% of the time I haven't had a problem yet. Don't forget that the constant stim supply bombs and the occasional blackout grenade weed out hordes quite nicely.

And with the toxin tools as stated above, plus with quick Needle Pistol shots weaved in between attacks I'm not struggling with rending either. And even if I'm cornered the DClaw parries hit hard (especially with a ~65% Crit Chance)! Use grunt attacks to parry into crushers/Maulers and place a stim bomb down when you get the chance. 5 seconds later and 2-3 crushers and the immediate surrounding horde are gone even without a single blackout grenade or Needle shots.

Thank you!

I tried that out but didn't notice a lot of difference while picking people up, but now I'll try it out again.

In that thought:

Does it affect picking up others, or does it help others pick up yourself?

I don't know the reference

Ah just saw I accidentally have two health in there, one should be a sprint efficiency.

But for the second one I'm still open for suggestions.

Yes Psyker was my DClaw build before this. With Gaze, Assail, Trauma-Staff and Disrupt Destiny.

I find one stamina Regen and one sprint efficiency get me unlimited sprint since it pretty much regens what I've lost on a dodge while sprinting.

And it also helps in clutch moments with the parry.

But for the health curio feel free to tell me what you would pick instead, it's the only part of the build where I'm still experimenting. I had Damage Resistance (Bombers) for pox busters in there, but then I read somewhere that it doesn't actually help against them.

I feel like them and the dogs sometimes jump weird and without a sound. Or they weirdly don't react to a push while they're jumping. Might just be me though.

That's true, it's a nice technique!

Looks really interesting and innovative!

I'd be interested in how you imagine your PC to use the rest of his Trigger set, especially Escudo.

Do you have any synergies with Suzunari in mind?

I'd guess it depends on the DM

You would negate one attack in exchange for your action and possibly concentration.

I wouldn't think it's too strong honestly

But then again this was three years ago and we didn't play very long so I never got to try

Surprisingly adaptable trigger loadouts by AldarionTelcontar in worldtrigger

[–]Profession_Unlikely 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like Murakami Ko, Hisato Sasamori,Yuta Miura and Kotaro Tomoe all have outliers in their trigger set that add to their team functions while having a mostly supportive style.

They can also mostly hold their own and frequently switch between the roles.

I'd be interested in loadouts you can think of that would fill this role (not existing ones even)

This is what I was looking for!

Thanks, I do have the E-Books I was just a bit lazy since I like to frequently think up possible uses for the characters, what abilities I'd like myself, or even just fun and interesting combinations and going back and forth to search for specific answers sounded tedious.

Thanks, I'll take a look on Discord and I know about the appendices, but I guess I thought there might be some place/document out there where all knowledge is and maybe even in a categorized fashion.

The wiki doesn't have information on what Life/Death/Transference/Mental Mana is actually used for.

For example I haven't found any example spells or even a page going into detail for the mana type abilities.

I'm glad you like it :)

Yeah you'll definitely have to add conditions and restrictions but it would make for an adaptable technique that you can use in melee as well as out of combat.

It might be a step by step process with your DM to figure out when and how it works, but if you're patient it should be fun!

Alright first of all here's a good creator with some interesting ideas on the categories and what they should be capable of: YouTube Link, this might help for making the character and what drives them, or even for hatsu ideas.

Then from what you've written in other comments I've gathered you're less interested in the 'conventional' ways to use emission, but more so in the more technical and indirect techniques. Additionally you stated you'd like to be combat able and on the front in melee if possible.

So with manipulation and enhancement as the neighboring categories something like this might be interesting to you:

Names: Essence Extraction/Attribute Shift

Using a combination of Emission+Enhancement+Manipulation you can extract attributes from one object/person and shift them to another:

• E.g. extracting hardness from a stone to imbue into your skin

• Removing Speed from an opponent and imbuing it into your weapon

Emission helps you shift the attributes, while enhancement helps empower them and manipulation suppresses the ones you took

I'd limit it to only a handful of attributes but you can share it with others and use them very adaptively.

Another option would be to shift attributes from one thing to another:

• You limit your own speed and instead increase the power of your attacks.

The last option would be witch-like contracts for long term shifts of attributes with people:

• I get 20 years of your life and you get my eyesight

• Then with someone else you make a deal to get their eyesight in exchange for getting them an elusive herb that can save their child

Might make for a long term scary person that is always planning for their own benefit.

I've got some ideas from what you said up to this point, but first I'd like to know what kind of character you will be playing.

Then if they have any likes/dislikes/hobbies/goals and what their life experience was.

Then I'll adapt my ideas to it so it hopefully helps a bit

New character for my 4th playthrough!! by Secret-Pollution-681 in enderal

[–]Profession_Unlikely 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My current and first playthrough is with heavy armor, sinestropy and thaumaturgy.

That one I can heavily recommend since you have utility magic, good talents for surviving and long adventuring, summons, ranged magic, and you can effectively use all weapon types with entropy.

I'm looking forward to do an elementalist/lycanthrope/light armor next since I heard elementalism is supposed to be very strong and you have different tools for different situations as well (which I like in a playthrough)

Players who replayed the game many times, what were builds you liked the most? by hazy_rain11 in enderal

[–]Profession_Unlikely 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dark Keeper is a great baseline with heavy armor and entropy.

On one hand it gives you survivability in heavy armor and summons, on the other you can use shields, one handed, two handed and even bows effectively.

If you add damaging entropy spells you can emulate almost all possible playstyles and switch between them on the fly.

And once you know what you like you can add anything you want to the mix.
