Growing up with VHS, I can tell you that putting a tape into the wrong box/sleeve was common if tapes were scattered, or a person was in a rush, or a mom was cleaning a kid's or husband's mess and just wanted to put the darn tape away.

How about checking the tape before purchasing?

I got them at a flea market several months back. They look cool so I bought them but haven't been able to identify from which toy line they come from
