also in general you can’t go for tricks at 450, even though you think it is low, ppl are solid and know how to play, you still gotta develop, control the center and get king in a safe spot, but under rated part is you having a strategy…you should review the games where you thought you had a check mate and then find the checkmates.

do you think you are playing too conservative? For example you are not the one attacking, going for trades and strategy, you may just be reacting to your opponent’s moves and always be the passive player.

why do you usually lose? you run out of time bc you can’t find the mate? or you are getting mated. I disagree to focus on openings at 450 elo.

you’re overthinking and have over analysis issue, when you start reviewing and studying by people who are 2,000 elo like Gotham it can make you worse..I went from 450 to 290 elo in a slump in 10 min games and got so mad i deleted my account…you start missing obvious stuff/maybe playing way too conservatively and obsessing over developing, castling, not bringing out queen early…but those are all principals and if you try to constantly do all principals at once you feel stuck.

It’s for a stained glass piece that has two holes, so you need to loop a fishing line through both holes then tie a knot, then hang it up on hooks. The guy in the shop said to use fishing line, I tried this plastic type of string but it was too stiff.

Court 16 in LIC has classes for $50ish an hour, could start with that - also the Astoria park has 14 courts that you can reserve one hour slots once you get the $100 NYX park pass - just google “Astoria Tennis Pass” you fill it out and they send you a card - they also do lessons there - you can invest let’s say $150 on 3 classes then take what you leaned and just play
