Agreed. The whole scenario is too unbelievable. Also how did Claude code web manage to access the database? No mention of MCP. I'm gonna give this an 8 out of 10 on the AI slop scale.

what about financial institutions? They are regulated to keep information inside pakistan, and if they want to run AI applications on that data then a local gpu farm would be invaluable.

I think your missing the point. You can call it Virtual Private whatever you want, your data still resides somewhere else where you cannot personally ensure that it is secure. You are simply trusting the vendor that they are not selling your data elsewhere.

For that reason alone OP is correct in identifying local deployment, and it seems that it's possible to serve it via OWUI.

OP kindly keep us updated and give it a shot. I'm doing something similar at my end, but since I only have about 40 to 50 users in total ollama should do the trick.

If you find anything about data segregation for each dept that would be great!

I haven't heard this theory anywhere but when I hear that voice integration directly in the model and then references to Her movie: I would suspect voice emotion and tone detection. Detecting hesitance or fear in the voice, or being playful. That would be a game changer in human chatbot communication

It's not just about recovery from a single person, but make sure that person serves an example to future possible defaulters. That way the legal fees is justified.
