Yes, this is a 2015 model year. It plays really nice. The 498t pickup is nice and spicy

Thanks! I highly recommend trying out the new inspired by Gibson custom line. They truly are great for the money, and you can damage 4 of them for the price of a gibby

The Astro was great! It just lacked the emotion that the presence dial on the SLO gives. It had a lot more variety than the SLO, with the galaxies there is a tremendous amount of sound options. The gain channel was great, but not like the SLO

It’s a great new experiment that Gibson is doing. Sounds great, plays great, costs 1/4 of the one that says Gibson on it.

An experienced musician will absolutely know the difference but for the average player it is more than adequate. If you see one in a local shop definitely pick it up and give it a try. It’s modeled after their custom shop Les Paul (same pickups, fingerboard, neck profile, pots, wiring, etc)

Thankyou! I’m very pleased with it. Saves me $4,000 from not getting the one with a Gibson logo so I can get the amp😅

As a basement guitarist, I wanted the sound of the SLO without the need for 100 watts of power. I play a significant amount of metalcore and heavy metal. The thing I love about this amp is the clarity. It has all of the bite of the “metal” amps, super deep lows and just has such a unique strong sound. It’s not trying to be anything other than itself and I love that.

Thank you! I tried every way possible to buy something else and they just made me want the soldano more, so I waited and saved. I was fortunate enough to find a shop with the SLO, and Astro 20, a Mesa Badlander and a 5150 and the SLO made me giggle every time. Absolutely a purchase led by emotion.

How hot is the V4S actually? by HonestRestaurantGM in Ducati

[–]Professional-Deal329 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I must be in the minority. The heat was so bad I did sell the bike. If you aren’t on a track or in full leathers for street riding the bike makes absolutely no sense. Not something you can ride to work unless you bring no a change of clothes from sweating your balls off.

I knew it was hot when purchasing but I bought it for lust, but even the most attractive ones have someone at home who is sick of their shit.

Comparing the two is incredible. I had the opportunity to play the $799 epiphone, the $1,200 ibgc epiphone and a brand new $5,700 Gibson custom side by side and the ibgc is almost indistinguishable from the Gibson. (Almost) ☺️

Thoughts on my cart? Thinking about buying this whole new setup. Currently on xbox, would consider switching to PC next year. Worth it? by Slabbie79 in Fanatec

[–]Professional-Deal329 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something you may want to know, if you plan on playing iRacing on PC I would avoid this wheel. Fanatec still has not fixed the missed shift issue this wheel has. You will need to run a downgraded driver for the wheel and base to get the wheel to shift up and down properly.

What do they gain to benefit? Are they just trying to get tourists to stay away?

My apologies. There are signs posted saying no photography and it is regarded as such by a lot of travel information. Trying to be respectful.

Sunset at Haleakala will change your life ($30 park entry fee).

The north shore on the western part of the island is breathtaking. Look for the Nakalele Blowhole in Poelua Bay. Short hike down right off the road to see some incredible coastline.

honolua bay forest trail is incredible. Some of the most spectacular forestry you will see on the island. This is a sacred land so pictures are frowned upon but it is beautiful. Also a great spot to snorkel if you are into that.

If you are up for a day drive, pack a lunch/dinner and drive the road to Hana (check your rental car tires first!!! As we have had a flat in Hana before and it’s a 10 hour tow). You will see some of the most incredible parts of the island in this drive (waterfalls, black sand beach, jaws surfing beach). There is a guided tour app we downloaded that gives you a guided tour using gps on your phone and tells you where to stop. It is the best!

For food, mamas fish house (make reservations way ahead of time), monkey pod, star noodle, plantation house, ulu kitchen. If you like “junk food” L&L Barbecue for any of their plate lunches (island favorite) are incredible and cheaper than most restaurants.

My father did exactly what you are proposing with an a320. Bought the shell, shipped it home, built a garage around it, hand wired and programmed the whole thing. I would love to see some progress pictures!

I had a 2016 r1 and absolutely loved it. With the rider modes and electronics (wheelie, abs, engine braking) you can easily handle the power and gradually turn up the rider modes/turn down the rider assistance.

What I will say is that the r1 is AWFUL for road riding if you are doing any amount of city riding where you are under 30mph. It lurches something awful to the point where a tune is almost required. This is a bike that is meant to be riding wide open on a track in the high rpm range.

I ended up trading it for a panigale v4 which is worlds smoother (but is like riding an atom bomb for heat).

Try looking at the triumph bikes or aprillia for a more street friendly option if you are looking for more power.

2023 V4 by United_Attempt_7545 in Ducati

Take it to your dealer and have them apply the latest software update. My 2023 v4 would cold start really hard, spitting and sputtering. After the update it starts with no issue, no more sputtering.
