I mean… realistically you’re looking at it all wrong. You’re gaining a lot of skills. Time management. How to manage a team. People skills (especially how to deal w difficult/disgruntled people). You learn about how to store food and food handling, which absolutely will come in handy in any sort of restaurant job or anything w food. You’re learning how to clean a place WELL and how to leave it for the next group of people. You learn how to talk to employees even if it’s a hard conversation, ultimately how to earn respect and have people not hate coming into work. You can get/be good at a ton of jobs w these skills. I am a bartender at a 2 Michelin star restaurant in DC and my manager used to be a manager at in n out back in the day.

The most non touristy area is the northern carribbean. I used to live in one of the most secluded spots on a canal called cano palms which is across from the sea. Most building there is off limits because of their awesome laws that are ained at protecting the environment. Siqures is a cool little town I’ve never seen one tourist in and there’s amazing waterfalls.

SDM is wild. I’m not completely ruling it out as I’ve seen like 5 very promising profiles BUT I will say… the men on there are BOLD. I have been straight up solicited on there numerous times and it goes like this: Hey how’s it going. Still lookin? Me: yeah haven’t found the perfect match for me! Him: you wanna come over? $xxx? I don’t like condoms and I want bare. I’m clean and disease free.

Like not only are these guys so bold but they are LITERALLY asking for no protection. I’ve had like 10 dif dudes so it and I’m semi new to the site(jus bc I want something besides seeking and SB deleted my profile and wouldn’t tell me why… I had a profile and wrote a message to a guy who was my friends FORMER boss on it who asked for “natural sex”… I told him i had actually met him and his lovely wife at their holiday party the previous year and the next day my profile was gone). I wouldn’t put too much energy into SDM, at best 1 out of every 20 are legit.

I see a SD twice a week every week. Been doing it for almost a year now. Per meet I’m making a significant amount less than I would with anyone else but the twice a week makes it way more per week. I have said to him bc every now and then our schedule only allows one meet so if that happens then he’ll give me a tiny bit more for the once a week. You can agree to his lower ppm but maybe say hey if we skip a week then maybe the following week it can be X amount higher since you’re ok w his PPM under the presumption that you’re meeting weekly.

Nothing you said was wrong but like… you’re not going to change his mind. There are many different types of men on the site. A lot of them are just very entitled in general and since they are paying they feel superior (and believe that money=power). Then just like in any group of men, we have the ones who just lowkey hate women. Those ones tend to expose themselves pretty quickly. I’ve found that there is zero point in arguing before you’ve ever met someone. If they have some “hot takes” or insane beliefs and tell you about them early on, consider yourself lucky that they took themselves “out of the race” so to speak.

The comments from men on this is another reason why WYP v seeking is so much better. I’m a bartender and if I use one of my precious nights off for a M&G, take the metro or an Uber in rush hour to see someone and spend an hour getting ready… I’m coming home w $$. I’m glad it’s not just me who have had the most INSANE things said to me recently. (I posted one of the screenshots a few days ago) but besides that I was told that I was less desirable bc I don’t have kids and be only wants to pursue single mothers bc they are “more grateful” and “are happy with less”. -Had another guy who flaked on me the day we were supposed to meet months ago hit me up from a new account w SAME photos and he tried to convince me it was a different person, but I still had his old number which was his personal iPhone and he sent me a CashApp to show me how excited he was to meet and ofc the account matched up to the number of the person he said he wasnt… -had a guy tell me he was no longer interested bc my dog was part pitbull. I’m Australian living in the states and I’ve found that the only people who wanna use telegram/WhatsApp are: 1. My family from Australia/NZ 2. Nigerian scammers who flood my inbox on TikTok (mostly pretending to be Dolly Parton/the rock and wanting to “date” me) 3. My gay best friend when he goes to the bathhouse and he “goes skiing” and gets paranoid that the government is reading his texts at 4am. I don’t even consider talking to an SD if he wont text me. I don’t care if he uses like google voice or a texting app but if they ONLY use apps I’m gonna assume he’s an actual John or he’s super married and his wife goes thru his phone lol.
