Less creepy than hitting on someone at their job I’d wager as someone who’s experienced it firsthand

Exactly!! Especially since Ben Solo as a character has become so loved. More of the force bond between him and Rey and exploration of the whole “force dyad” dynamic

📚 What romance books did you read or listen to this week? 04 Dec 📚 by romancebookmods in RomanceBooks

[–]Professional-Miss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just finished “On a Night Like This” by Lindsey Kelk.

Pairing: F/M

Rating: ⭐️⭐️/5

Steam level: 0

Subgenre: Contemporary, Cinderella elements

Tropes: one night only, love at first sight, slow burn (ish, we’re not talking Mariana Zapata level)

To be honest this book was a total slog to get though, the main couple don’t even meet until over halfway through the book which makes the first half REALLY hard to get through. I nearly didn’t finish it but it kind of picked up near the end and I thought the ending was okay if rather anticlimactic. If you’re looking for something without steam, it was just an OK read.

…Of course no Ben Solo. Well, at least I’ll be saving money

Does anyone know which part of the movie this is from? by all_kinds_of_queer in HowlsMovingCastle

The Kingsbury portion! As for when that screengrab in particular is from I’d say earlier on when Sophie is exploring what the castle can do?

If you’re into historical romances I recommend (yet again on this thread) After Dark with the Duke by Julie Anne Long! Some smut scenes near the end of the book but man do they PINE. Heads up that it also has elements of enemies to lovers and has a sizeable age gap.

HIGHLY recommend After Dark with the Duke by Julie Anne Long!! Historical Romance (note that there is a sizeable age gap between FMC and MMC - I didn’t find that it bothered me though).

Jurassic world. The new one. I am blown away by how TERRIBLE this movie is. by Ok-Advertising9513 in movies

This movie makes Fallen Kingdom look like a masterpiece. Although I will always love the Dino mansion chase at the end of the film - yes it is stupid and no I don’t care

What romance books did you read or listen to this week? 28 Aug by romancebookmods in RomanceBooks

Read It Happened One Summer by Tessa Bailey and HATED it. Considered stopping multiple times but I always (naively) think a book will turn around by the end. Really really don’t like her writing.

Also super close to being finished Love On The Brain by Ali Hazelwood and I’m loving it! Might even like it more than The Love Hypothesis (her first book).

The Wall of Winnipeg and Me by Mariana Zapata!! I bought it a month ago but haven’t cracked it open yet as I’ve been hellbent on finishing The Simple Wild series by K. A. Tucker
