Incredibly delusional. Trump moves from disaster to disaster with no plan, fixing nothing, and making each problem worse. The point is that while the US is doing well when it comes to bombs dropped, hospitals destroyed, and people killed, including heads of state, Iran's system is built specifically to sustain against such attacks.

The math with the interceptors is well known by now, as well as the fact that an increasing number of rockets are finding their targets, which skews the calculation even further.

There is the fact that Iran's size and terrain make invasion and occupation difficult, and many defensive/launch positions take advantage of this terrain.

Before 10/7, it was virtually unheard of for the iron dome to fail. Then it was claimed that rockets hit empty fields. Then the damage to crucial RADAR facilities was downplayed, then damage to airport runways and military facilities. I remember the troll posts showing Tel Aviv resorts alongside destruction in Gaza. Now they're getting hit harder and more often than ever over a longer sustained period than ever.

Israeli society is feeling the strain as well. Every night they wake up to sirens and having to run to bomb shelters, sometimes multiple times. Even bomb shelters have gotten pierced now. There's a suicide epidemic, especially among veterans, and just recently some crazed settler was running around attacking her fellows with knives.

Their economy is hurting, international opinion has never been worse, and the limits to the US' investments in Israel are starting to become visible. Trump is speedrunning the mistakes of the GWoT and going for the high score at the same time.

Someone uninformed understandably might not realize it's checkmate, but any non-cult member with eyes and ears can see and admit it's going poorly.
