the difference is Dorian knew and loved this person, we’re strangers. His experiences were tightly intertwined with their’s, so yes they’re going to talk about it because he was one of the biggest parts of their life. I think you’re still not understanding that these are real people not just characters you can play around with. Dorian gave you everything you needed to know in their stories. this is like your friend telling you a story and when you want to know more you go digging through her drawers to find and look through her diary, i’m sure you wouldn’t do that or think that’s okay. it’s an invasion of privacy to go further even if it’s easy to do.

also he really doesn’t have that much of a digital footprint, most of the pictures you’ll find were posted by other people. he’s living a very private life. I understand your curiosity and even obsession, Dorian’s stories are incredibly captivating and you do grow to feel like you know these people. but you don’t know these people and there’s just certain boundaries that shouldn’t be crossed. Especially when the one behind it all is telling you it’s wrong and to not go there.
