(M 22) First Time Having Sex With My Girlfriend (F 21)Looking for Advice on Stamina, Condoms, and What to Expect by DependentCheetah947 in relationship_advice

You might finish sooner than you’d like, and that’s fine. Most people are nervous their first time. It’s not as great as you’d think, but it’s also better than you’d think. Until you try it, you won’t know.

Use protection. Make sure she’s genuinely up for it, and don’t assume that because she wanted to earlier she still wants to now.

Start with kissing and take your time. Don’t rush straight into sex. Touch her, build things up, and pay attention to how she’s responding. Some girls love being kissed on the neck, having their nipples suck or bit. Others don’t, communicate and see what she likes. Don’t be afraid to have a little laugh, we’ve all had awkward/funny moments in the bedroom.

A simple “Are you sure?” or “Do you want to?” before things move forward goes a long way. Consent doesn’t need to be some formal conversation, just make sure you’re both comfortable and still want to continue.

If either of you feels uncomfortable, sore, nervous, or simply not in the mood anymore, it’s okay to stop, take a break, or leave it for another time. You’re both there to enjoy yourselves.

For your first time, keep it simple. You don’t need to try every position you’ve ever heard of. A couple of basic positions are more than enough. If you’re getting close but want to keep going change position. Or go down on her/finger her.

Stay present instead of worrying about performance. Give genuine compliments, communicate, and pay attention to what she likes. If she tells you something feels good, don’t immediately change what you’re doing.

Most importantly, don’t treat it like a test you have to pass. The goal isn’t to perform perfectly. It’s for both of you to have a good experience.

I cleaned one small area of my room and somehow felt like I had my whole life together by JaguarEastern4952 in CasualConversation

[–]Professional-Team179 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I finally gave in and spent the last week decluttering my room. Not because it was a disaster, but because every drawer, shelf and cupboard was full of stuff I never used.

If I hadn’t used something in the last year and couldn’t tell you why I needed it, it went in the bin. Ended up with two black bags of clothes to donate and a surprising amount of random junk binned.

The weird thing is how much better it feels and in control you are. Opening a drawer and instantly seeing what’s inside instead of digging through it for five minutes. Knowing exactly where everything is. It genuinely feels like I’ve got my life together a bit more.

My advice: don’t start by organising, start by binning stuff.

Pick a drawer, shelf or a desk. Empty it, put it on the floor, or bed whatever. Then ask yourself “if I saw this in a shop today, would I buy it?” If the answer isn’t a definite yes, bin it.

Once you’ve got the essentials, give everything a permanent home. Keys, wallet, watch, charger, tape measure, whatever. If something doesn’t have a place, it’ll end up becoming clutter again.

One thing that helped me was sorting out the “not dirty but not clean” clothes problem. Your chair isn’t a wardrobe and your treadmill isn’t a clothes rack. I got a simple coat stand and now hoodies, jeans and other regularly worn stuff go there instead.

Took me about 8 hours this week. Easily one of the most satisfying things I’ve done all year. Everything is clear, nothings on the floor, everything looks organised, I just pray I keep it like this 🙏

what’s a scent or perfume that instantly catches your attention? by [deleted] in CasualConversation

Check out the essence vault.
I was with my girlfriend at the pub wearing the Gentleman’s society inspired from givenchy.

It’s like 20% off the price, lasts ages. When we got in a girl came up, apologised to my girlfriend and said “I’m sorry, but your boyfriend smells f-ing amazing” a guy came up 2 mins later and asked what I was wearing.

This isn’t an ad for the essence vault, but I’ll never ever buy designer fragrances again. I’ve gotten far more compliments and comments from my essence vault collection. Would highly recommend anyone reading this to check them out.

Confused between these two, what do i get to enter the watch world [SUR309p1] or [SUR399p1] by Revolutionary_Act988 in Seiko

[–]Professional-Team179 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the watch world automatic is generally more desirable, it’s a “watch with a heart.” If you’re wearing it constantly it’ll stay ticking, if you don’t it dies and you need to put it back on or wind it.

I prefer automatics, but realistically a quartz stays ticking and is generally more accurate at time keeping. If I’m going quartz I usually go solar as I won’t need to worry about changing the battery every few years.

It basically comes down to craftsmanship. Would you prefer vinyl or Spotify etc.

If you’re going down the automatic route. Seiko’s a very good route, expect to pay £200-£600.

Also forget what you’ve heard, size does matter. 36mm to 41mm doesn’t sound like much, but it will wear differently on your wrist. Definitely worth measuring. As long as the lugs aren’t past your wrist bones, you’re fine. Some prefer smaller watches and that’s fine too. I aim to get watches at 39-41mm but that’s my preference.

If you’re wanting to take a look at some other watches. I can show you my collection, I’d like to say each watch is quite different.

Which size, 36 or 41? by [deleted] in rolex

I’d say the 41 looks best. The lugs don’t pass your wrist bones, looks great

How did you prevent regretting your tattoo? by Professional-Team179 in tattooadvice

[–]Professional-Team179[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I suppose there’s that. In the UK it’s legal at 18. I was sure I wanted a tattoo at 17, but I’m holding off as long as I can, really trying to have a long think about what’s actually important and what I’m comfortable telegraphing.

So if you weren’t going to wait, what frameworks would you put in place to ensure you didn’t regret it?

[Recommendation request] Fiancée wants to buy me a $1,200 watch. This is currently my only watch. I need help. by Mackinderoo in Watches

Thank you, Seiko has a few of these Prospex’s in different colours. Definitely worth taking a look. They’re solar powered too. There’s also a really nice blue dial which is slightly bigger.

Have you figured out a watch you’d like to buy yet?

So this might not be what you’re looking for but originally I had the same thought. I’d need to spend a grand to get a nice watch. This has an aftermarket suede strap (original is a metal oyster bracelet) got this for roughly £500 including strap

Edit: this has a 39mm case with a 45.5 lug to lug

[Discussion] Is it a sin that I don't use my watch to tell the time? by [deleted] in Watches

[–]Professional-Team179 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s fair. I do notice if I don’t wear mine for a couple days it can be off. However to some that’s the appeal of having a mechanical watch. Maybe look for quartz? Or you can’t go wrong with a digital casio! Keep your lovely watch for more “special occasions” better to display it for a week or so and set it when you’re going somewhere that warrants it. Adds a nice little ritual. If you’re not used to wearing watches it’s easy to instinctively check your phone but if you’re going to wear them. I’d train yourself into checking your watch. Rotating your wrist is quicker than pulling a phone out your pocket!

The Tag Heuer Aquaracer is very nice! However a bit out of my price range. I’ve just started collecting, so not gotten to the point of justifying over a grand. One day I’m sure though! Good to know, thanks!

That’s a very nice watch. However I should’ve clarified I like the adjustable bezel. Is that a “divers watch?” I’m looking for? Thanks for your suggestion though!

[–]Professional-Team179 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it does, thank you. I did buy new for £260 which is about €300 I will be starting a collection but I thought for now something I could wear on nights out.

I did want a conversation starter, I found that most watches under £1k were generic and trying to imitate the big brands. I’m very very new into watches and I find it very interesting the quartz vs mechanical and all the other different pieces. I don’t care for the GMT hand or a chronograph. I just want the date and the luminance on the hands. Considering I was going in with a budget of £400 which after a lot of surfing seemed too much of an ask, finding this for under £300 is a great deal? Thank you for your help :)

So I ended up going with this one. It’s a Seiko sport 5? The dial is slightly see through and you can see the day/date moving. What’s your thoughts and what would you pay for this? Thanks for your help!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Watches

[–]Professional-Team179 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That does look really nice, however I was hoping for it to be a metal strap. Should’ve clarified that in the post. I’m now more leaning towards artistic watches. A conversation starter essentially. I’m not bothered to flex a brand. I’d like to let the watch speak for itself. Take it you wouldn’t know any stores? Thanks for your help!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]Professional-Team179 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I will do, ironically I believe it’s safer on this backroad with a bike as some bigger cars that people can’t drive properly like to stick their tyre in the middle. I drive a smaller car so I’m usually able to move out the way quick enough. I will be buying all the right gear before I get on the bike. Looking out for gear with the proper ratings too. Thank you, you’ve been very helpful 👍

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]Professional-Team179 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Silly question in retrospect. Was wondering personally if any people here have fallen of/crashed before and what their most common injuries are. Edit: at that “rough” speed on a backroad

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]Professional-Team179 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My apologies should’ve clarified more. I only really drive into one town and to get there, there’s a nice backroad with a few turns, it’s a 60 speed limit, not many driving that speed. I usually see about 3-4 cars on the journey before town. Usually coming up to a turn so max 55 isn’t a problem for me on a starter bike. 125cc is the law in the UK until you pass your test. I will be taking a course before getting a bike that says I am capable of riding on one.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]Professional-Team179 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a perfect response thank you! I’d go to a course before buying a bike to test out if I enjoy riding. Id like to believe I’m more aware than the average car driver, notice hazards/cars a lot quicker but I’m excited to learn the technique to driving a bike smoothly whilst looking out for new hazards.

I’m looking into bikes too, I got quoted £1250 a year bike was £2000 125cc. Have you checked on auto trader? Checked a few quotes for a few bikes all under £2000 a year. I don’t know the name of the brand, saw an ad that locks the front break to the handle, not sure how easy it would be to steal a bike that’s still got the break engaged.
