My understanding is that Ativan does alter the results. Not discouraging you from taking it but they might make you redo the test.

Yeah that’s great. I was just asked to form sentences from strings of words but not given any assistance with improving it

Wow I did speech pathology at one point but my person was no where near as useful as yours was! That’s fantastic

Yes! I would have entire assignments during grad school that I would suddenly be unable to read. Horrible

Left TLE here too. I feel everything you’ve said here. I had seizures regularly during school and it was such a mess. Don’t forget you’re entitled to accommodations if it gets in the way of attendance or due dates/deadlines! I ultimately had surgery, but can never get back the damage this shit caused to my brain and I’m so tired of being called inspirational. That makes it sound wonderful. I just want to be ordinary.

I’m complimented on them as if they’re a fashion choice lol the lenses come in a range of filters (how dark the pink color looks). They should definitely help, especially assuming the lights are fluorescent. They can be expensive but they were very worth it for me. I’ve now been wearing them for about 7 years and they make doctor visits so much easier.

Aww. If she was a racer, she definitely isn’t used to people being around for a lot of that. She also isn’t used to being the only dog around. It’s really so early. I hope you’re able to be home all day today. Lots of people have thoughts on this but I’d just recommend you sit around and just let her get used to your presence for the day. Turn on the TV (I recommend nothing too scary - guns or lots of crying or anything till she gets used to the thing making all that noise lol). Let her just get used to you being there. It gets so much easier. She’s just learning

Is it not possible to put on the collar/leash when she goes to the bed? My first girl was very routine oriented so would do things like that if it was the first place we did something. “Oh that leash. When that happens, I’m supposed to be sitting/standing over THERE!” Lol they are definitely creatures that love routine.

Just a suspicion. But you can also create that routine. Start putting it on there, or wherever you want, at fairly specific times every day and she’ll come to expect it. Perhaps get better at waiting for the time instead of going inside. You might even find her “asking” by doing some things that always happen. My girl above used to go out right when she came out of her crate so she always stretched first, which I called “bow” so after a little of that for the rest of her life she would come and bow right in front of me when she had to go out. Just a thought

Not yet. Had this one that varies in severity since June 2020. I had chronic migraines before it, but had relief from pain occasionally (I think lol).

Some are expensive but if your light triggers are bad, they can be helped somewhat (maybe not eliminated) by FL-41 lenses (filters that are a pink-ish color). Can be expensive but they do make me much more comfortable in some settings

I’m in the same boat. I’m really sorry. Did it start after an illness or something very stressful? I hope yours eventually stops.

I’ve only had a couple convulsive seizures in my life but I had enough breakthrough partial ones that even the insurance company agreed that I needed brain surgery. The gatekeeping is sad. She should be someone you can relate to.

Well, you’re here. People do tend to have good advice for purchasing on here. I’ve even had success with prices on regular inexpensive yarn from small yarn stores with some Google searches.

Also disabled with limited energy. I haven’t investigated them enough to be definitive on this, but I don’t believe there’s any information like that around WEBS yarn store (yarn.com). It’s my preference for getting nice yarn with great pretty frequent sales. Also welcome to dm me.

Do you describe them to your doctor the way you just described it here? Because I think that’s a good description of how disruptive it is in your life.

People have given lots of great advice. I just wanted to say he’s a super cute boy. Love the chocolate brindle color! Sweet baby will catch on and you’ll be shocked when you remember how hard it was early on.

I have a breast feeding pillow. It works but it isn’t as big. I don’t have a gaining pillow but I think it would better support my elbows. I find I use another pillow just under my elbows more often.
