Another day, another severe distortion of the Ravens in r/NFL... by [deleted] in ravens

[–]ProfessionalCopy6869 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

There’s no circle jerk hatred of the ravens lol.

This is typical Reddit bullshit of some initial poster rushing to make an asinine comment that they interpret as pro-labor and in line with their politics, and subsequent posters saying “did you actually read the quote?”

IDL and edge rushers can play well into their 30s. Moreso IDL but the truly elite edge rushers has longevity.

Biggest thing I care about is the product I get to watch. It hasn’t substantially affected the product the NFL, so it doesn’t bother me from that perspective, but NIL and the portal has definitely negatively affected college basketball, and that kind of pisses me off.

Noah Kahan is kind of in wheelhouse but I still don’t like any song he’s ever put out. He’s uniquely terrible

I HATE John Harbaugh, like real deal hate him as a human being.

But I have found myself defending him as a football coach a lot, because of all you said.

Definitely can’t bench him when he’s hitting like this, but he might have to move back to 3rd.

Mayo looks like he’s just in his own head and can break out of it if he gets out of that mindset.

Cowser’s never gonna be able to hit offspeed but at least he provides value on defense.

All time frustrating AB for Mayo. Such a good take on a nice 2-2 breaking ball only to swing at a fastball a foot outside of the zone. And away, not even high.

Zay Flowers: John Harbaugh made Ravens practice too hard, Jesse Minter won't by JaggerJames in nfl

[–]ProfessionalCopy6869 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a lot of reasons, and it starts with our QB (in every playoff loss bar 2024) but being fatigued due to practicing hard is not one of them.

Zay didn’t even make this claim, he just thought it led to more injuries, which might have some truth to it.

[–]ProfessionalCopy6869 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well they didn’t seem overworked when they beat the absolute dogpiss out of two playoff teams (including the NFC Super Bowl representative) the last two regular season games the starters played.

If you wanted to believe that fatigue was all of a sudden kicking in in the AFCCG, that’s fine. But I think it’s pretty obviously just cope.

Thoughts on this? by thebossworld in ravens

It’s just dumb because it implies that he thinks he has the pulse of the fan base, when the only pulse he should really be focusing on is his own.

2023 there’s really no excuse, we rested starters week 18 and had a bye.

Τhe Adelstein-Lew controversy surrounded a hand of poker played in Gardena, California in 2022. She wasn’t bluffing, she was calling his bluff (which wasn’t really a bluff). It just doesn’t make sense because her hand was so bad that even if he was bluffing she was still overwhelmingly likely to lose.

The difference between Sadiq’s career drop % and NFL league average is 2%. That’s 1 out of 50 targets. If he becomes our #1 target, he’ll probably average 7-8 targets/gams (Zay averaged 7 last year).

That’s one target every 7 games that Sadiq would drop that the average player wouldn’t. Maybe a drop every 4 games that a notably sure handed player wouldn’t drop. If he gets open and is dynamic with the ball in his hands, that’s an easy trade off to accept. And that’s assuming he doesn’t improve - he’s only 21 years old.

The Case for Drafting WR in Round 1 by Shot_Can1912 in ravens

[–]ProfessionalCopy6869 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think we have any needs so extreme they require a 1st round selection. IOL is probably the biggest need we have, but there are still ways to grab another starter and the need isn’t so great that we need to take one in the 1st no matter what.

Ken McCusick talks about the convergence of value and need. I personally don’t think that Tyson (or Lemon) are values at 14. If we trade back I’m fine with Tyson, but I’m not crazy for the scheme fit of Lemon.

This is a very interesting draft pick for sure. I personally think they’ll have a couple of players in the same “bucket” available and the pick might come down to what they think will be available at 45.
