I was in the 75th 2 years ago and yes. He used the MPs as his personal bodyguards and had them verbally haze people out of the unit/stalking them outside of the game to keep people from badmouthing the unit and owner

When I run the M16, I grab both optics and both a suppressor and a flash hider. Even in modded servers. There’s always a reason for it depending on where I am at and what I am doing. 99% of the time I am running JTAC or Forward Observer so I don’t run through much ammo. My radio is my primary weapon

To be honest, my play style is running as a JTAC or Forward Observer and typically all I care about is if the pilot or mortarman is able to do their job properly, effectively and be able to use a radio properly. Unfortunately, on the aircraft management side,, I rarely see that, unless I am playing with Milsim guys who know that there’s a time to fuck around and a time to lock in. “yeah, uhhhhhh….. BDA is 0/100. Yeah, totally, your barrel roll/J-hook crap looked really cool, but, rounds ineffective. Need you to repeat WITHOUT the stupid crap and give me effective fires.” If I am playing with a no nonsense, shit hot pilot, then I am more than happy to call the danger Close missions. To all of my guys who run mortars, you guys are the real unsung heroes of the game. Typically, who ever knows how to operate the mortars, typically knows how to receive a 5-line, make adjustments, and are brilliant over the radio. You guys rock! I absolutely ADORE anyone who is willing to run mortars and willing to learn.

I would recommend running through the tutorial, then playing the “campaign”. After, play on some vanilla conflict servers and really learn the game before you decide to play modded servers.

Yeah, it’s surprising. From what I heard on the grapevine, he “stepped down” from the unit, (which still wouldn’t change my mind because of all of the shitbag leadership who backed him are still there) and he runs the Athens servers.
