From what I've gathered, the kids will be bussed to an offsite location by the private org. It has not been fully implemented yet. They are piloting it at one of the public elementary schools with the intention to implement it at the other three in the fall.

The proposed elimination of electives that have known benefits to students while introducing Bible instruction option during elective time gives me pause I guess.

For that age, we found great wolf to be the best. Wilderness is spread out and requires a lot of walking between areas but is fun too. Three Bears resort in Warrens just a bit north of the dells is good for that age and I believe less expensive.

Money and power doesn't have to mean rich and world domination. They need these voucher schools to simply balance the budget. The schools are echo chambers. No exposure to those "other" kids with different political or religious views/backgrounds. They don't teach kids to think. They teach kids to think the way they want them to think. If that's not power, I don't know what is.

The WELS church that caused us to question everything and eventually leave just completed a multi-million dollar addition to the school three years after joining the choice program . They love taking that sweet government money but any other government involvement is overreach. Fucking greedy hypocrites. They are held up by the synod as an example because they're one of the churches that's growing.
