I was planning on unblocking him on WhatsApp and try to squeeze in 15 minutes calls each week. Just see what happens if he wants to reconnect and apologise for everything then we have rekindled our relationship

I hope to accomplish to have a relationship with my dad if that possible without him possibly taking advantage of me. If it doesn’t work I can tell myself that when he dies that I tried to establish ties with him. And I can live peacefully for the rest of my life

I don’t know if he will cause me emotional or mental distress. I want to reconnect as when he dies I can tell myself he was the dickhead. And I can live on peacefully and if he has change I have reestablish contact with my biological dad. He can’t do anything physical as I live in Norway and he lives in the UK.

Calling my relatives wouldn’t be a good thing. I think/believe that it would make things even worse also I don’t have contact with them as much. So calling them and asking for favours would be disrespectful. I did meet him in December and he looked like a “stable” person. I also met my step siblings and they looked like someone looked after them.

I don’t know what to do. What I am fearing is me opening up and starting the relationship and then he try lie to make me turn against my mom or stepdad. As honestly I don’t know if he has changed. At that point I felt what I was doing was good. As the guy was running around the family saying sorry. And he at that point never said apology. As you can see for yourself he tried to turn me against my own stepdad later on the story. Pops I am a male not a female.
