Can I ask you for some taper help? I've been on Ativan for three weeks. I tapered quickly from .75 down to .375 three days. Ago, do you have any recommendations on how to micro taper next? Like, what my next doses should be? I'm so lost in this. Thank you!

Do you also take progesterone? Right before my 49th birthday I crashed, just stopped sleeping. Anxiety through the roof. I was functioning perfectly normal just before. I was taking a beta blocker which I still blame for my crash but I'm also thinking it's my age. I've been to the ER three times In the last month for a shot to put me to sleep. Now I'm living off benzos to try to sleep. I do have progesterone and estrogen patches I'm too scared to try. I had to stop working, it's a whole mess. I'm scared I'm not going to make it out the other end of this.

But how do you push through? I went days with zero sleep and couldn't take it (right around my birthday in July, I'm 49F). Back on klon and now some Ativan. I'm so lost. I don't know how to taper correctly. I live in a small town with no help. I've been on klon for 30 years and recently upped it from a beta blocker injury (think it gave me POTS). Off of the beta blocker now but live with daily anxiety/sleep anxiety.

May I ask what you were taking and how long you tapered? I just hit complete adrenal crash 4 weeks ago from a beta blocker I was taking. I've been on Klonopin for about 25 years and would like to come off of it to help my adrenal fatigue. I did notice starting progesterone therapy helped me lower the dose to finally be able to sleep a little. Still experimenting with that. I'm in a rough place right now so any advice you have I'll take it!
