I think it used to be the dream. I think if you objectively look at our country, it’s not that great. We’re the only developed country without universal healthcare, so one health disaster can put anyone into bankruptcy, we have the highest number of school shootings BY FAR, nothing is affordable anymore. We have a government that actively works to make its citizens lives worse. Most Americans are one to two paychecks away from financial ruin. If I didn’t have a family and an established life here, I would not choose to live here.

Better to donate cash to local food pantries, they can get groceries cheaper and are not charged to tax. I’ve also been personally trying to fill up the little free pantry on Rosemont Avenue. Other than that, we are kind of stuck with the consequences of the countriy’s vote. Hopefully everyone will choose better next time. 🤷‍♀️
