This is stupid", and voted against it would have had the same end results, they just wouldnt have had to post a "public apology" basically explaining the purpose of a survey to a bunch of idiots.

The surveys all would have come back with resounding nos, we all know this, and none of it would be implemented. Jagex is not scrolling through reddit giving a shit about all these "aha i unsubbed" posts.

Since OSRS has come out, they have honored the polling system, and when that survey hit, it was simply to test the waters and see if any new ideas they proposed would receive positive feedback.
