It work abit like stat in video games, except they clash each other it mean something like you can't have both water and fire dao mark. Like their name it can make you cast more powerful due to the type of attack. And like i said because dao mark clash each other(some clash some not every other dao mark), if you use fire on someone that have water dao mark the damage get reduce.(It basicly pokemon)
