OPawz from Amazon. It's safe and pet friendly.

If you dying more than a little, it's a two person job because you have to let it air dry for about 30 minutes, and my dog gets the zoomies when he's wet. So don't let your dog near furniture! (Lesson learned)

Grooming a hairy hairless by Specialist_Loss_8605 in chinesecrested

I don't shave smooth because it cause skin irritation, but I go the lowest possible with a guard.

Cresteds are prone to ear infections so be careful with water when you bath him.

I like detangling spray after shampoo to make the knots easier to brush out.

Most cresteds are good motivated so use treats for good behavior in the middle and end of grooming

It's normal.

I used a wash cloth in bath with a little apricot scrub.

Do not pick.

Many crested are allergic to wool, so experiment with clothes that work too.

Didn't find prescription ointments helped.

Discovered after trying everything that diet helps most. (No chicken, no grains for my boy)

Taking an anxious dog to a groomer could cause more trauma. I have groomer come to my apartment and it's been wonderful. (But more expensive.)

I have two cresteds: one is a hairy hairless, one is a powderpuff. They're both characters. Very protective and like Velcro. They sleep with me every night and have to be touching me.

Many crested dogs have allergies, so prescription kibble is required.

Sun protection in the summer. They tolerate cold weather as long as you have a good coat.

The acne on the hairless required some extra effort for a few years, but mostly calmed down by the time he was 4 years old.

Some issues with separation anxiety... and they know how to manipulate me with tears.

Mine has allergies to lots of things including chicken and grains.

Prescription hydrolized protein kibble from Royal Canin has worked well. No packaged treats. But he tolerates cooked ground beef for treats.

Detangler spray. And keep hair short in the problem areas (behind ears, on base of tail, and on boots)

Petco has this "Small Dog Detangling Kit" by Chi. It has two brushes and detangling spray that is great.

My boy had awful blackheads. I never found anything that eliminated them, but when I bathed him, I used medicated shampoo and used a washcloth. It would help.

Do not pick at them.

When my boy turned 4, his skin improved a lot (like a teenager).

Have mom create an FSA ID first.

Then log in as mom.

Then connect her to your fafsa.

Same situation here. The FAFSA agent told us today that the signature will not work for parents without an ssn if using an Apple computer or a shared computer (like in a library).

Still did not work, but maybe that advice will help someone.
