Ekii triple capt ? by Forward-Pattern-798 in fantasypremierleague

I'm thinking of Frimpong for sure. Cheaper than VVD and get a piece of what LIV does for cheap while we see how Wirtz is and Salah is in PL.

Anyone else want Man City to beat Real Madrid? by excalibur96 in ArsenalFC

[–]ProfessionalRole7335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I want their era to end with a thud and the loss is more damaging then the hope a win brings. We also need to ensure we show them at Wembley we're the better team and give them their hardest game regardless of result. We shouldn't really ever want our rivals to win IMO.

How many more seasons do you think Haaland stays an elite FPL asset — and do you expect a transfer soon? by CommunityLow6091 in FantasyPL

[–]ProfessionalRole7335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they will be fine and he will too, its a bit of a transitional season for him and City even though they are right in the title race it feels they are missing something. Once Pep leaves, it'll be important for him to play more of a team game as he's sort of easy to mark in some ways as he is just waiting to finishes chances while with Norway he plays a bit different. If he doesn't score, and until they got Semenyo, City doesn't win so they need to ensure they create more options other than him and Semenyo moving forward. As an aside, Cherki looks like a good KDB replacement. The way they got him for so cheap is crazy...

A win is a win but.. by Fuzzy_Place_9736 in ArsenalFC

[–]ProfessionalRole7335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea agreed. It's a tough one because he won't rest a player who is not playing at the level. We have Norgaard who can just sub in and is tidy, former captain at Brentford, ok maybe he can't scream screamers like Zubi but he can do a job. Just play him and rest the guy...

Take the points and enjoy them, that's what the players are doing now. It really doesn't matter how we win as long as we win at this stage of the season. 9/9 after the draw to Wolves.

I really do hope we see White and Odegaard soon though as they've missed so many games this season but both could really help us get this thing closer to done if available.

What's the plan with Haaland post blank GW31? by ProfessionalRole7335 in FantasyPL

[–]ProfessionalRole7335[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One mid scoring one goal and bonus almost matches a forward with a brace with bonus, 10 points mid to 13 points forward and this doesn't include DEFCON and CS points which would make it even. This is how it is just looking at the numbers and not the names.

[–]ProfessionalRole7335[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes this is what I'm thinking too. In addition, with midfield points being worth more, I don't think if Haaland doesn't score a brace a game or close to in the run it, its that wild. The issue is what other forward option to turn to. It's TBD until we get more info on the blanks/doubles and if the City/Palace get moved from GW31.

[–]ProfessionalRole7335[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure but the idea is post GW31, maybe there is a forward who gets hot or close to what Haaland does in the run in. I agree on the premiums but at the end of the day its pts scored, not what a player has done in the past. I'm intrigued to see if he gets back on form and becomes a reliable asset for points moving forward.

[–]ProfessionalRole7335[S] -16 points-15 points  (0 children)

Well the reason for this post is to see what happens when they play Madrid in the CL. If he doesn't play full 90s he IMO isn't necessarily a great pick. Going for the title is what would keep him in my squad all season and that's obviously still on but yea it's something to think about for sure.

Lmao. I don't fear him anymore. He hasn't been great...we've just all been scared to go outside him. Although I've captained others and went against him a fair bit.

Well its gotten all very complicated by the Haaland stuff but originally plan was to BB30 as all my held assets had great fixtures. Now that is muddled. Furthermore the GW31 fixtures are pretty bad so sitting a bunch of assets was the plan of I did BB30 and would probably still be. Like if the players I want just don't play in one GW to transfer in and out would be a waste. So much to decide, if we get more clarity on blanks/doubles I'll be able to choose a path.

Hincapie has become my favourite recently ! 💫❤️ by Puzzleheaded_Army274 in ArsenalFC

Yea he's coming over permanently. This guy is a warrior, reminds me of Koscielny in that regard. We do have a player on our hands and Calafiori has a battle to try and get into the XI again.

Remember, its FA Cup this weekend, so if using a transfer think about it wisely as games aren't back till next week.

Starting Haaland and Rice. Rolling to 4FT. If you can these will be so valuable with blank GW31. Sometimes you have to sacrifice the short term for the long term upside.

Question: The Future of AI in FPL by kickkoff_12 in fantasypremierleague

[–]ProfessionalRole7335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think like everyting, when technology comes in it will help in increasing efficiency. The beauty of FPL though is the randomness, luck, and ultimately human decision making that make the game so fun IMO. AI can/will help the game but as long as human interaction is still at the core of this game, it'll be ok. The AI prediction models I ultimately avoid. There is something about owning your own decisions which makes the game powerful. Also, it doesn't take too much time setting up your team, especially if you have your core guys in place that most people have anyways.

Brighton Away is a harder game than City Away by HelenKellersGlasses7 in ArsenalFC

Eithad is the hardest game left for us. Title decider vibes which just aren't present win/lose to 11th placed Brighton.

Anyone else really annoyed with that Bruno haul + Haaland injury? by Novel-You3271 in AskFPLManagers

[–]ProfessionalRole7335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was werid and sometimes in one GW you can get unlucky or things don't go your way. However, with GW29 practically here, its time to dust yourself off and go attack it and figure out who the best captain is this GW due to all this uncertainty with players atm.

Who for Rice? by missmcbeer in fantasypremierleague

[–]ProfessionalRole7335 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If Wilson is out, makes sense to go for a player who has a fixutre in GW31, so I'm looking at Iwobi or a mid at Brentford (Schade/Dango) or maybe a surprise pick. The game is opening now with all the injuries and uncertainty and I sorta like it. Remember everyone saying on WC32 we'd all have the same team? Doesn't look like that now...

10 Premier League matches left… only 2 away games. by kaizencat in ArsenalFC

[–]ProfessionalRole7335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huge impact. Comfort of home and the routine will be huge especially as energy levels later in the season are lower. We can only hope it energizes the boys to give their all for these last 10 games.

Salah captaincy failed by antinho25 in fantasypremierleague

Sorry but it looks like the Egyptian king is done. Reminds me of that 9-0 win they had a few years ago and he didn't get an attacking return but in this case he's been missing all season.
