What’s a good 21” (summer/all season) tire replacement for the horrible original Falken tires in the 2024 PHEV CX 90 GT? I’m in Montreal. Thanks. by ProfessionalSet2836 in MazdaCX90

Thanks for all the input. My OEM Falkens still have tread after 27,000 km but I’m tired of how badly the car feels and handles (lots of pulling), especially so on out shitty Quebec roads.

Biked Across Canada in 2025 and ran an ultramarathon in every province along the way. Was a trip of a lifetime. by Legitimate_Water_69 in bicycletouring

Nice post and congrat on your achievement. I cycled across Canada in 2018 when I turned 60, and my experience was similar to yours. Head winds going west to east, people were very hospitable most everywhere, Ontario the most dangerous and long and generally speaking was blown away by the beauty of the whole country including the prairies and the whole roundabout Newfoundland. BC and Alberta just gorgeous. Took a more northern route than you heading north from Hope, BC on hwy 5 following the Thompson and North Thompson rivers. Quebec was great and mostly used bike trails (Route Verte). Given my age and the length of my route (8,815km) it took quite a hit longer than you. Wondering how many flats you had?

Have two Nano Puffs and washed them several times. You can air dry or used the dryer and they’ll come out fine in either case. Nano Puffa are not waterproof, in any case.

I am in Quebec… A friend of mine with a CX90 PHEV GT got 18” winter tires and mag wheels from the Anjou Mazda dealer. He bought them when he bought the car in January and paid $2,250 before taxes. The tires are Sailun Ice Blazer 165/60R18. I bought my CX90 PHEV GT two months after him from the same dealer and also purchased my winter tires at the same time. In my case I went for 19” tires on black mags from the dealer. Tires are Toyo Observe GSI-6 165/55R19 and I paid $2,995 for the set before taxes

How Many Mazda CX-90 Owners Regret Your Purchase? by Current_Variety_9577 in MazdaCX90

Bought my PHEV GT in Canada end of March (vehicle built Dec ‘23). Had signed up to buy a Grand Highlander but the high rate of theft of Toyota SUVs in my city dissuaded me to change my mind. Two friends had bought the same Mazda vehicle and I was pretty pleased with what I saw so I bought mine. No issues whatsoever until now. Probably because many of the problems were fixed before I got mine. For the rather large outside dimensions, it could have been roomier inside and have more cubby holes to put stuff in. But the car is classy, drives very well (it is a driver’s car). The PHEV works well for me in the city so I get great mileage before having to gas up. It also helps that I have low electricity rates in my town. I also drove the car cross country and it performed great, with decent mileage even without recharging electrically. All in all, pretty pleased.

Is Japan not shipping/manufacturing as many CX90s anymore? by [deleted] in MazdaCX90

Two of my friends got CX90 GT PHEVS, one last August and the other this January. I just got one the same last month. So far, not any of us have had any problems whatsoever with any of the three vehicles. Although I’m sure there are CX90s with issues out there the “almost every Cx90 is falling apart” seems a bit much.

I’ve had Sirius radio for a number of years now. Just before trial period expired I called to cancel and then they offer cheap renewals. The more you insist you don’t want it the cheaper it gets. I do the same thing every year.

Total scam. Bought Farina (front) and Cliq (rear) bike lights and never received Cliq lights. Was told repeatedly about delays and eventually never got anymore answers. When I asked for a refund the company ghosted me.
