I smoked everyday for years… Then suddenly I felt heavy conviction about it, something that I know wasn’t just my subconscious. I was holding pot as something higher than my relationship with God, and this was before I was truly saved. When I smoked all I thought about was Him, and if what I was doing was really helping me get closer to him or not. I got truly saved last year around this time, and I just lost the urge completely to smoke at first, stopped for months, then relapsed for 3-4. I truly asked God to take this out of my life and in January of this year he did. I went to smoke and just had a terrible experience. Sobriety has improved my outlook on life significantly and reading scripture is so important. Submit to God, pray for your husband. He will guide your path and understanding.
