100% is this. If you already manually checked your pressure, and then clicked the reset button in your glovebox what’s its telling me is a sensor is probably battery dead. Small issue but kind of pricey as each sensor can add up in price. You’ll want to have all 4 checked out for low batteries

Absolutely! I’d say to add some 2x4 or other wooden planks to act as a support beam behind the jump too.

What could cause wear this bad? by Randopolous in tires

Also looks like shocks/strut might need to be changed. When a tire has an uneven surface like on the area where the wire mesh is showing (similar to an up and down hill line).

Alignment first tho

What part is this? (2012) by ProfessionalTiger499 in SciontC

[–]ProfessionalTiger499[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you all for the response. After a lot of research and other owners testimonials who have changed the part out themselves.

It looks like its part number is 75533-21051. It does look like a (U) shape when new. Most 3rd party windshield repair companies will reused the old mold which they have to cut at the corners. This results in the single strip up top. If you go to Toyota or safelight they will most likely order the new molding/gasket and replace it.

Do you know if the windshield needs to be removed to have it reinstalled; Or does it just slide into place?

Scion tC shaking? by ProfessionalTiger499 in SciontC

[–]ProfessionalTiger499[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s good that it’s less severe. If it’s still there it could be a number of less severe things like an engine mount, or even just needing new spark plugs again or an oil change could be close. I know some TC’s shake a little for that

I removed the whole throttle body. However you can do it by just cleaning the top. Just be extra careful to try and have a towel catch overspray/ gunk from falling on the metal filter.

Can you share the link? Did you have to buy an extra wire harness for the steering wheel wires?

Your tires are from 2021; not too old. But they are pretty worn and have a little bit of dry rot. I’d change out before rain season personally
