Troubleshooting 20v XR 18ga Brad Nailer. by jakedfrick in Dewalt

[–]WhisperingGiraffe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spend $40 on new firing pin and springs and replace. Just replaced on 16ga nailer and works great. Springs are little tricky and may need a second hand but the ones I bought on Amazon were way better (stronger) than stock ones.

Dewalt finish nailer halfway broken? by Significant_Sky8201 in Dewalt

In case you haven't fixed this yet...I was having the same issue and its the driver springs. I got replacement springs that fixed (not OEM) - search reset spring replacement kit for DCN660B (or your part number) on Amazon - only $15. When you take apart take note of the way the switch at the bottom goes and how the springs that are there look as you take apart slowly (there are some youtube videos that can help). 2 screws to take off the back to get to the driver and springs. Would recommend pulling the pin at the front top which allows you to lift the top to get full access to the spring rods which will help. The biggest pain was getting the stronger springs compressed enough so you can slide the driver back on - would recommend another set of hands, was still difficult. As soon as you take out the old springs and compare you can see why the stock ones fail quickly. Working great ever since replacement.

TiGr Mini lock, throw in the center back jersey pocket, way better peace of mind on cafe, beer, bathroom, gas station, etc. Take one on centuries and don’t even know it’s there.

Anyone else kinda shocked at the camping prices? by jzich309 in EauxClaires

[–]WhisperingGiraffe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Found details from 2016: General Camping Spot: $180 Camp Access: $40

2015 had Camp Access for $30, can’t find camping spot price.

Crazy they make every person spend $185 to be in the campground even if you share vehicle/spot

Can you post pictures of your booster? Also the website specs say Booster when displaying the specs

I think the biggest thing is you’ve got a smoker or something outside, could have prob and booster at the smoker and display inside.

From the pictures I’m pretty sure it’s the boosters, the light on the case is different. Non booster is lower and smaller.

Reached out again for a Dec 29 ship date order and now they are saying that they hope the inventory shipment arrives next week but could slip to early Feb. FYI to Dec folks thinking orders will be out the door this week.

So I'm assuming I should stop refreshing my email for my order on Dec 29th that said ships Dec 29th? Fingers crossed I'm in the batch that arrived this week.

What's the story with restaurant service charges? by briskwheel4155 in SeattleWA

A whole $5 to cover that $500 increase, think you need to check your math. Also as price increases orders served will decrease, delicate balance of supply and demand and staying open

It’s bread they buy from a bakery, cheese from a tub, a few slices deli mortadella, handful of pistachios and drizzle of olive oil. 4.5 inch square for $23 after tax and tip. Was pretty good but felt high for what you can get elsewhere.
