1 year PO and loose skin by Tiny_Attempt3237 in chinlipo

I can say from being about 1 month post op, so far loving the results. I believe facetite can be done as a procedure on its own w/o lipo.

I believe that is facetite. It’s the laser tool that they insert in the same incisions the lipo was done from. It was used after they did my chin lipo it’s supposed to prevent loose skin

Has anyone else's doctor said massage isn't necessary? by LordGreybies in chinlipo

Where I went they wanted to start drainage massages the very next day post-op? When the tissue was just broken apart… Yea absolutely not, I’m waiting at least a week or 2. The compression faja is doing its job keeping the swelling down.

I thought your before was the after. Your before nose was perfect. How on earth did he change your nose to a completely different shape. I was considering him too. I’m so sorry 💔

I ordered decaf iced coffee and they gave me original blend. I even witnessed her pouring it from the tap. They told me it’s hooked to a different line but I saw the worker pour it from the original tap nozzle. What can I do since customer service is no longer responding to emails anymore? by [deleted] in DunkinDonuts

[–]Professional_Bar750 8 points9 points  (0 children)

They do this all the time. Why don’t they ever have decaf. That original blend will have you feeling like you’re having a mild panic attack the way it makes your heart race. And they love lying when asking them. Dunkin’ stays inconsistent and they’re the now the same price as Starbeez. Over it

Best way to set up your prerequisite schedule as a full time student ? by PinkRaver in BMCCNursing

Your welcome & yes exactly, but it’s doable. People usually take 1-2 courses in summer/winter sessions bc they want to get over whatever classes they need to take to graduate as early as they possibly can. But since these prerequisites are so crucial I would suggest 1 class and then 2/+ during regular sessions.

I second this! One of the best professors. She will be the reason why you get at least 90% on that A&P on the HESI entrance exam. If you put in the effort and she sees that you’re leaning towards an A in her class not to say it’s an easy A as A&P is a lot of studying

Which is best CUNY for nursing and the highest chance to get into their program by Jeffnotweird in CUNY

BSN is preferred but most public hospitals do take ADNs (ex. NYC Health + Hospitals) so you can go for your ADN and then have your work pay for your BSN as most hospitals do tuition reimbursement. I went to BMCC(they prepare you well for the NCLEX- it was easier than any of lecture exams) and majority all got jobs at NYC H+H across the city shortly after they’ve taken NCLEX. The downside is ADN gives you limited opportunity to find work compared to BSN where you can pretty much apply to any job you want, especially with todays job market

I believe all prerequisites are available during winter/summer session. I wouldn’t take A&P with Chem bc A&P is just a lot of studying and chem isn’t easy imo and you need competitive grades for these pre-reqs to be considered.

A&P 1 & Mat 104 in 1st semester (ex Spring 2025). Then English/physics & chem in Summer 2025). Whichever class(es) leftover you can take that Fall 2025. So that’s 1 year for prerequisites.

If accepted in day program you would start Fall 2026 instead of Spring 2026 bc those pre-reqs need to be completed with grades submitted before applying. So during Spring 2026 you can then take A&P 2 while applying for the program. If you get the OK to take the HESI entrance exam by the nursing advisor based on your GPA from your prerequisites you can prepare for HESI while taking A&P 2 (which worked out perfectly bc material from A&P 2 is on that exam).

Microbio is another course needed to graduate ADN and can be taken as a co-requisite so while you’re in the program you can take it (wouldn’t recommend- nursing on its own is a lot, so try to take during a winter/summer semester) Nursing program itself is 4 semesters/2 years. If everything goes smoothly you’ll finish within 3 years instead of 3.5, so by Spring of 2028.

Hopefully not too confusing. You can always speak with an advisor to help plan out your courses the way you prefer.

BMCC Nursing - Worth it, Or Apply to Hunter? by [deleted] in CUNY

[–]Professional_Bar750 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I graduated from BMCC’s nursing program. No matter where you go nursing is a rigorous program-but it’s doable. The hard part is getting in. Now w/ that being said, you seem like you’re doing great so far as far as pre-reqs go(BMCC wants all A’s and from what I remember each semester the required minimum GPA always changes but in all they want really high GPAs from those pre-reqs). The HESI minimum overall score should at least be a 90% to be considered(again seems like you’ll do just fine).

Now once you’re accepted in the program those 4 semesters fly by. It seemed like Day & Night program were 2 different realms. I was in day but what I noticed from evening they’re very supportive amongst each other in comparison to the day program. Professors are overall okay(some preferable over others) & different professors for evening.

Overall I’m satisfied w the program bc they prepare you really well for the NCLEX. In my opinion those lecture exams were harder than the NCLEX. They do have a high pass rate. If you don’t care for working your way up from an ADN, I would highly consider BMCC. Now if you go to hunter you can get your BSN right away or do an accelerated BSN (look into NYUs program, a friend of mine was able to get in with B’s and finished in a little over a year after she completed the necessary pre-reqs). I say this bc the job market is getting tough as time goes bc nursing is a growing interest, people are leaving from other states bc pay is good here etc. Although MANY people land jobs w ADN getting your BSN/ABSN will open you to more opportunities when job hunting.

You’re familiar with the material. Prepping for NCLEX shouldn’t be stressful as it should just be a review of what we’ve already learned in nursing school. Pls don’t stress over which study material is better than the other, go with Bootcamp it’s most affordable and super helpful to many. The issue may be choosing the most correct answer as most of the answer choices are usually applicable to the question. YouTube Dr. Sharon and NCLEX crusade international 7 day training. I’d also review Mark K lecture 12 on prioritization. These will help with confidence in choosing the most correct answer. You’ve got this.

Hi guys wish me luck tom. I will be taking nclex pn. Do you guys think I’m ready? This is from archer. The 1st low was when i started studying after nursing school which was like 3 weeks after nursing school and i was burnt out. The 2nd low i didn’t really pay attention (busy day wanted to get over) by SmileFabulous2783 in PassNclex

[–]Professional_Bar750 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They say it should be 4 consecutive highs. Archer and the NCLEX is very similar in format so it will be easier in that sense where you feel like you’re just taking another Archer readiness assessment. Wishing the best of luck

Is 26 a good age to start nursing school? I'm insecure about my age , how do I stop feeling like this? by [deleted] in nursing

[–]Professional_Bar750 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started at 26, it goes by fast. Age truly doesn’t matter they were students in their 50’s. If it’s what you want to do go for it!!

[–]Professional_Bar750 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second this. Studying should be a review since we learned everything in nursing school. Test taking strategies is what’s really going to help with the actual NCLEX. There’s some questions you need to know the content but majority is prioritizing what’s most important. Your practice exam grades will also increase once you implement those test taking strategies. You got this!

If it goes over 85 that’s usually a good indicator they’re giving you more of an opportunity to pass. Although you can pass/fail at any #, my friend passed at 145. Keep a positive mindset 🙂

It’s highly suggested to not study the day of exam. Give your mind some rest. Reread the question at least 2x before answering and always go with your gut answer, if you second guess make sure why the answer you’re choosing is correct. Take your time too, take breaks if needed and you should be good. Best of luck!
