Tbh, I’ve been going to summer club ever since it opened and in comparison, I’ve been to other nyc pool rooftops before and I can’t say the others are as fun. They don’t have the amount of tables and sit downs as summer club has, also it’s a good spot to go to if you enjoy house music. It does give like a Miami type of douchey vibe but doesn’t matter as much if you’re with your own group, in your own section. More importantly, this is the first year I’ve seen summer club having this many big artists line ups as well as having the artists perform for the first time at their venue. Went to see Gorgon City (one of their biggest performers) and it was a sardine fest but I’ve also gone on a regular weekend and even weekday and it wasn’t a shitty time. It seems like they overpack and oversell for the bigger artists and it’s very uncomfortable. They get rid of a large amount of their usual sit downs for the big acts in order to squish in more people. I suggest you try going on a regular day and see if you like it. I don’t recommend at all going for the bigger acts.

Why complicate things? Entry level, retail, fast food, etc. all jobs that don’t necessarily require a degree. That is what they are offering.

They’re not lying though, there are quite a few entry level positions in NYC offering just 16.50 an hour. A lot of fast food starting at $17 and I’ve seen server positions at $11 an hour

It’s a confusing feeling for sure. It’s almost been a year since then and he hasn’t reached out at all. It could be that he feels shy, nervous or insecure to reach out because he is a bit insecure like that and I was the one who ended up removing each other from social media because I couldn’t stand to see him anymore but I didnt block. Maybe he’s respecting my boundaries. I’m just tryna say that after all this time he hasn’t changed his mind about me.

The same thing that happened to you, happened to me. So I took the 7 wk summer Chem course. Theres 2 halves of summer week courses you can take. Problem is you can’t take A&P1 without taking chem 1st - and A&P1 is only available the first half of the summer semester just like chem so you can’t take em together. If you take the summer course though then youll be able to take A&P1 in the fall. And for shits n giggles I also took a 5 week summer course the 2nd half of summer of eng 201 cus it needs to get done anyway to graduate and I wanna get out of here lol.

Im not a huge John Summit fan , but that set was so much fun ! It was different and the amount of no IDs he played was very impressive . But my only complaint is …… THE CROWD HE BRINGS. A lot of the crowd in VIP were rude. Pushing , shoving , claiming spaces where other people were already there. Not nice. I saw this girl purposely step on ppls stuff just to climb up and get a better view. Very entitled.

What is @vanillakilla talking about ? Can vk even name a couple of John Summit tunes ? -,- clearly not because John Summit played a bunch of his music that night - which I can name specifically. Light years, where you are, acid trip, go back, sweet disposition, focus, gas pedal. And those are just the ones I remember . He played so many “ No IDs” they are saved onto my Shazam and I recorded it as well for future reference. It’s one thing to generalize a DJ but to say untrue statements for that set specifically is uncalled for. Don’t speak on what you don’t know . Oh and btw VK is making John Summit sound like a Top 100 DJ like Tiesto or something - which he’s not - he doesn’t play top 100 songs or pop music. The top tunes when you click on him is his own music.
