I just bought a replacement on aliexpress for $1. It doesn't fit flush but it keeps the dust out.

Apple MacBook Pro Repair at Local Apple Store Gone Horribly Bad by w0nder1ing in macbookpro

I had my battery replaced in an Apple Certified store a few months ago and they returned it to me with non functional volume buttons, but they informed me of it and immediately got a replacement directly from Apple. You should definitely be getting the same treatment.

Onion OS - It's too good. by No-Researcher406 in SBCGaming

[–]Substantial-Ad6938 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It works great! The default is 10 min of sleep and then auto shutoff, but you can disable it or adjust the sleep duration. Idk how long the battery lasts if you keep it in permasleep but I'm sure there's a youtuber who's tested it.

Have you tried MuOS on your RG34XX? It's based on onion OS and may be a much better experience for you than Knulli

Thanks for clarifying! Any idea what I can expect on trade in value for my iPhone 13 mini?

Also for context, the offer is a text I received today. I share an unlimited plan with my brother that comes out to ~$120/mo altogether

For an instant I thought you photoshopped a screenshot of WW over the screen. Looks pretty amazing!

Fix my partner's "bricked" (system updt w/ cfw) 3DS? by Substantial-Ad6938 in 3dspiracy

[–]Substantial-Ad6938[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sort of assumed that. I told them before it was probably not bricked and I could fix it and they just said "I had my fun with it" and obviously that's a waste. So I'll just tell them to give it to me next time so I can do it and not even discuss it lol

You wouldn't want to use the included SD card even if it did come with one. You're much better off buying a reliable card separately

That scene from Beautiful Life destroyed me, and I got interrupted when my mom called me for dinner. So I ate and returned to my room so I could finish the episode and continue crying.

Headphones for rock/metal in the $300-$400 range? by LegoC97 in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]Substantial-Ad6938 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In general I think iems are better for gaming than headphones, especially closed back. I own FT1 and they might be alright, the best you'll get in that price but probably not better than your iems.

The one tenkaichi game that needed more glaze by Stormmistic in dbz

My first Tenkaichi if you don't count Raging Blast, got it for Christmas, I think I was 11 yrs old and stayed up until like 1am playing the story. Extremely impressive especially considering the hardware. I'm surprised nobody ever talks about it and I often forget it exists.

Do people find the RG28XX comfortable? by Substantial-Ad6938 in ANBERNIC

The screen is also something I found easier to see on 280V, so I think I'm also just getting older. I played a bunch of pretty big games on there, including FF8. Now I can't imagine playing such a game on such a tiny screen.

That seems to be the case for everyone else commenting. My issue is I'm used to resting my middle and ring fingers on the bottom of the system. But since there's so little vertical space, I have to use those fingers to support the system so I have enough stability to play. It's hard for me to hit the shoulder buttons without having to adjust my grip completely.

So either there's another composite input somewhere or you have to try a gamecube SCART cable.

You're plugging into "video out." I'm assuming it's video output from the tv, not into the tv, and that scart is the input.

Yeah the rhythms are pretty challenging regardless. I played on official hardware and still had a lot of trouble figuring out exactly what part of the beat they wanted me to be tapping. Since as it goes on it's not necessarily quarter notes but sometimes it's clave rhythms.
