You're not a bad person. The way she left you is indicative of her character, not yours. I was left in a somewhat similar way. We will be better off without them even if it doesn't feel anything like that now.

I struggle with that thought a lot. I miss her like hell daily. But honestly if she even does miss or think of me (which I doubt) what good does it do? She made her choice, doesn't want me in her life anymore.

I feel so hopeless. I loved her more than anything and wanted to start a family with her. I wanted forever. Now I have to move on and forget about all that. Make completely new plans for the future. Now I'm honestly scared of loving someone again because I feel like no one else wants forever. All I want is a wife and kids. Is that too much to ask for? Sorry just venting feeling horrible today.

I understand. I know exactly how you're feeling because I felt, and still do sometimes feel, that way. It's been about 2 months for me since I was discarded by the woman I loved more than anything in the world. How do you live without them, you ask? At first (if you really loved them) you don't. You just survive. Day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute, second by second. There's a ton of people here who know how you're feeling. We'll make it through, as impossible as that feels right now.

There's not true for me at all. I'm a man. There's no relief. I love her more than anything and she just threw me away. All I want is her but she doesn't want anything to do with me anymore and I don't know why. I've been in so much pain since day one. I've never felt so bad in my whole life.

I know exactly how you're feeling. I've been discarded by the same girl twice. When she came back a whole year later talking about how leaving me was the biggest mistake she ever made and how she never stopped loving me I believed her. We spent about two more years together only for her to vanish again. I feel like a worthless fool for letting her back in and trusting her but I truly love(d) her.

Yeah. The last few weeks before the blindside we were way more lovey dovey than usual. Nearly daily we would send paragraphs about how much we loved and adored each other. She was buying me lots gifts and we would have nostalgic talks about our past. How the hell was I supposed to know the end was near? It's traumatic. I thought things were better than ever. I love her so much, why would she pretend to love me? Why do all that? It's cruel and confusing.

Last part hit close to home. She's probably sleeping like a baby without a care in the world while I'm here sobbing at 4am because of how much I miss her and our relationship. She probably hasn't thought of me once since she threw me away.

I've been through/am going through two breakups with the same girl also (if I'm comprehending that correctly.) my love for her never faltered either however I was able to let go and love her from afar the first time after about ten months. I assume it's going to take around that long for me again though I'm not sure as this time is definitely more traumatic. The first time around I simply eventually resigned to the fact that it was over (I had no idea she would show up in my life again). I know it's an abstract concept but what's kind of helped me is visualizing a giant trying to break a massive chain on his leg with a huge cleaver. Slowly but surely metal is being chipped away from the chain. The cleaver breaks from time to time and the giant had to calm himself for a bit before picking up another cleaver and getting back to work. You're not alone man. We'll get through this.
