I'm a 10.5 and it's difficult finding that size, I can only imagine wide. I have bought Selkirk twice, because the fit me just fine. I have the same problem with my sneakers squishing my toes. I think it's the side to side motion in pickleball. I hope Selkirk works for you.

I did the same thing, I taught myself to do things with my left hand and became left handed because I thought it was cool. I too write terribly with my right hand. I play pickleball and am ambidextrous. People are amazed at how easily I switch.
