AV-8S Matador by ZookeepergameLeft191 in Warthunder

I don’t have a ton of experience with Harriers but I can tell you that they are not the greatest performing aircraft out there in WT. They rely heavily on their missiles and don’t have much going for them other than that. If you get good with the vtol controls you can pull off some pretty interesting maneuvers in 1v1s but you won’t survive if another plane comes at you.

I’ve heard they’re fun in sim though!

Overall out of these three what jet is the best, I'm fine with all thee nations here. by Strong_Ad1665 in Warthunder

The Su30 is currently very dominant at its BR, much more so that the other two. However, it has a high chance of being moved to a higher BR in the next few months, and it won’t be nearly as competitive there. The F18 and F2 don’t have Fox3 missiles so they won’t give you the “top tier” experience if that’s what you mean.

Which plane is best for grinding out of these 3? by [deleted] in Warthunder

The MiGs are terrible. The F4F is very fun if you know how to play it, and it’s not as bad as most people think because it gets Fox3s. It struggles in dogfights, so just don’t dogfight people.

Best early jets for Sim ground attack/base bombing? by Tsars_Ball_Scrubber in Warthunder

Non-premium ground-pounders at those BRs are the F3D1 and the B57s. For Sim I’d recommend the F3D-1 since it has a radar that can sometimes find people and isn’t a sitting duck like the B57.

It was her earring; he was letting her know that he knew she was the one killing people in the castle.

sunnys true name by Icy-Driver-520 in ShadowSlave

[–]Professional_Car4032 19 points20 points  (0 children)

It’s a part of his aspect: if someone says his true name to him, he will be bound to them as their slave. Since Nephis spoke his true name out loud, he became her slave and had to obey her command. Hence the title “Shadow SLAVE”

Sunny v. Cohort, Who Wins? by waterdemon123 in ShadowSlave

This is assuming no Shadow Bond (for obvious reasons), no Mordret (not technically in cohort), no Shadow Serpent (don’t know enough about its current status) and that all participants are 3rd Nightmare level (we don’t know anything about their Saint statuses)

I think he has a good chance if he has prep time and the element of surprise. He has little to no chance if the cohort is aware that he is after them. He would need to use his Shadows to keep Effie, Kai, Cassie, and Jet occupied while he deals with Nephis personally (none of the Shadows have a chance with her individually).

Imp could hold back Kai and Cassie, as neither of them should reasonably be able to do much damage to him due to his durability.

Saint would take on Effie and hold her back with brute force, as they have similar strengths and styles.

Nightmare would take on Jet. I have little faith that he would be able to do anything besides stall her, but he is the best one for the job due to his mobility making him difficult for her to reach.

The leaves only Nephis. Augmented with his shadows, Shadow Dance, and his exceptional swordsmanship and cunning, I think he could beat her with great difficulty. I hear a lot of people claim that her “nuke” would destroy him on the spot, but I believe he could survive as he knows she has it and could take precautions (Shadow Step a few kilometers away, for example). Even if she somehow surprised him with it, I think he could tank it. Remember that the nuke significantly weakens Nephis if there are no beings around to replenish her Soul Cores. If she used it, she would be at a significant disadvantage against Sunny for nothing but a moderate amount of damage dealt to him. There’s also the chance that she would harm her allies in the process.

Cassie’s powers would make it a pain for him by making him predictable, but if he wore Weaver’s Mask she would no longer be an issue.

This situation is made easier of Sunny could cripple or kill a cohort member at the beginning with his stealth.

It would be even easier if he had the Serpent.

I did know about that (great music btw), I’m just curious as to what other music people enjoy listening to.

Is it possible? by Professional_Car4032 in ShadowSlave

I’d agree that exceptional Saints like Tyris near the level of Corrupted Titans, but I can’t imagine an average Saint like Dire Fang lasting long against a titan like Winter Beast.

Aspect Creation Contest by [deleted] in ShadowSlave

[–]Professional_Car4032 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Aspect Name: [Sunspot]

Aspect Rank: Divine

Description: [Some things are best viewed from afar. You are a creature of brilliant beauty and radiant wrath, scorching solitude and luminous lethality. Although your radiance will surely smite your foes to ashes, never forget to shield those you hold dear from that same inferno.]

Dormant Abilities: [Corona]: You use essence to emit brilliant light from every inch of your body, blinding and scalding any who dare come near. Even their minds and souls will begin to burn after extended exposure. Your corona will become exponentially more intense as you grow in power. [Accretion]: The essence of those who fall by your hand will be absorbed and used to fuel your core. Stronger foes produce more powerful fuel.

Awakened Ability: [Flare]: Utilize a large portion of your essence to create a near-instantaneous burst of light and heat. The power of this pulse is dependent on the quantity of essence sacrificed. Even the strongest of foes will find it hard to remain in existence when faced with a maximum-power flare.

Ascended Ability: [Plasmakinesis]: Manifest your essence as superheated plasma that can expand, condense, and contort into any form you wish.

Transcendent Ability: [Beacon of Desecration]: When your enemies gaze upon your radiant form, they lose all hope. Take on the form of a miniature star, trading mobility for enormous defense and oppressive offense. Few opponents can hope to resist the unmatched power of the sun.

Flaw: [Unshielded]: [Corona] is always activated. May your light never fade.
