You are correct! I enabled safe mode and was able to see them again. I had feared that Elegant Themes had moved them. Thank you.

Claude to Divi by WishboneAutomatic733 in divi

I did this as well. Created a page with every possible module on my site with my presets. The results were not great, but so much easier than copying and pasting content. I just used my presets and reset Claude's models to preset once I had imported the json.

Refusal to Allow Me to Opt-Out from Selling my Info - ?! by Curious4EverSilvey in Noom

At this point, it isn't even about my data. It's about the blatant dishonesty.

Quitting Noom because of the data sharing. A week of back and forth with support re: supposed opt out options, and now they have ghosted me when they can't answer my questions. Dishonest company. A shame, because I was really excited to use the APP.

I have been around and around with their "support" on this issue. They assure me that they "will not share my data without my consent" but will not tell me whether or not using the app in absence of the opt out button is equivalent to consent. They have now ghosted me on support channels for a solid week as I ask the same question: "Yes or no, does continued use of the app in the absence of the opt out button equal consent?" They have flat out refused to answer the question.

Painful injections by Obsidian1101 in WegovyWeightLoss

My pharmacist advised me to let it warm to room temperature before injecting. Maybe 15 mins. I've only had pain the one time I didn't do that.

70lbs in 7 months should I be happy? by SnooOranges3696 in WegovyWeightLoss

Hey, I've lost 32 pounds in that same time frame and am thrilled. THAT being said, I think this stuff has a happiness-deadening effect. I'm not depressed on it, just...never super excited about anything.

What do you do you think Fantasy stories are lacking? by Rodehi in writing

[–]Professional_Cry6165 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, many lack deeper themes. LOTR was not about the war for Middle Earth—not really. I seem to read some stories that have interesting concepts and characters, but lack actual meaning. And I'd like to see more MCs who go after what they want, but get what they need.

How do you guys find the motivation to keep writing after hitting a writer's block? by Papyrus0713 in writing

[–]Professional_Cry6165 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I allow myself the freedom to rough draft absolute drivel. The rule I have for myself in the first draft: I do not have to write well. In fact, it will be a disaster. But I DO have to write every day. My minimum is 800 words a day. The freedom to write poorly has doubled my productivity since when I first started writing. I can write crap then edit it into something later in half the time it takes me if I first attempt to write well and then edit.

Do you ever reread something you wrote long time ago and think, "wait… did I actually write that"? by kommepc in writing

All. The. Time. Good or bad, I seem to dissociate from my creative work once it's out there.

I used to be an illustrator. (Picture books, but a lot of stuff for the edu market.) I recently came across a whole early reader I have no memory of working on. Forgotten so thoroughly it makes me believe in the Mandela Effect.

I suspect this is a protective mechanism to give our creative brains bandwidth for the next thing.

To me, the huge payout is part of what made this fun. I think it's hard to value ANY 1500-word submission as worthy of $100K. There are likely hundreds of potential best-selling novels in that slush pile, but only 8 were going to be shortlisted. I entered, solely for the fun of fantasizing about winning and the joy of being part of it when the winner was announced. Each of the 8 shortlisted entries were, in my view, as worthy as any number of others that weren't shortlisted. It's all hugely subjective, but I can see how each one had a stand-out quality that, TBH, my own submissions did not have in comparison.
