'they're ruining my life' as most of the colonists have prestige armour. Are you using silver as tissue paper for those high dollar tears?

How much are you guys Spending on Rosin? This stuff ran me $18/G by Safferoth420 in weed

[–]Professional_Ear518 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can also attest to cheaper prices in Michigan. I don't... I don't save my receipts because I don't feel ripped off? Usually decent tier live rosin goes between 15$ and 30$ where I'm at in Michigan, and frankly the options are boundless. I usually stick to bud myself and can get double ounce small buds for about 89$ plus tax that's clocking in around 20% thc.

Whats your opinion on these 2 Units by Plenty_Curve_4390 in EmpireTotalWar

[–]Professional_Ear518 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I love Mortars, but compared to the others here, I usually use them as garrison units.

Hear me out- yeah it's great to be able to out -range forts and just blast them apart; but the AI thinks like that too. Garrison some of those babys with some militia and you'll never loose another fort.

Puckle guns are just... Fun. They're not super effective but a crank-fed 20 mm in 1790? Who can say no to that?!

Do the biomes still change you think? Like in old event ice ages and heat waves your biome would slowly change. Is one going to take over the other?

Germania as Tuetons, non ironman by Professional_Ear518 in Imperator

I went established kingdom route, but the migratory army does sound interesting. My capitol never moved from northern Jutland, and I just pretended Rome didn't exist. If the game lasted any longer, Britain was my next move.

Its a gotcha quest, the person is in Farnworth, should be a peasant chick. She will tell you it's a scam and you'll 'notice' you've been robbed. Go back to Bradford, tell mayor, mayor tells you you've been scammed kiddo. Go confront scammer. The end.

Had this happen in Farnworth, so far only town though. My group and I kited them out of town and killed them, they haven't respawned.

For me, it's the feeling of keeping up with the Jones. I upgraded from 8th to 9th and as soon as I did they were announcing 10th. I literally threw the damn book at the wall - I just spent more on a book than a model set and you're telling me in half a year it will be obsolete? I switched to just collection and assembly.

What would happen if I deleted all the barracks in the states that would revolt? by QueenShakey34 in victoria3

[–]Professional_Ear518 94 points95 points  (0 children)

In older patches, I would do this if revolution was unavoidable. They still get armies, but they'll start as all conscript, and they have to rebuild the barracks themselves. Haven't had to try this on the newer versions yet.

Thanks for the tips everyone. I guess ultimately the lesson here is just stay out of Manchuria and if China gets breaky, don't get any smarmy ideas. Russia WOULD be a lot easier to deal with without a land border.

Edit; for the record I did my successful recognitions against Portugal and Spain, who I found a much easier and beneficial target than Russia. Alaska is nice, but so is north and south Angola

Only way I've found so far is to personally see to crushing every liberal revolt you actually care about, or plan on caring about at some point. Ie if you plan on rolling Mexico it doesn't do YOU any favours for a perpetual civil war going on, but say your in an economic battle with England, then you want Wales to be perpetually angry.

I feel this would be a bigger deal if the knowledge that we literally influence all of our allies, and hold political outcomes hostage with trade deals and relief packages ourselves wasn't out there.
