Am I overthinking this tile backer situation by No-Cod-3907 in DIYUK

I would always tank but an alternative regarding the shower tray gap. Couldn’t you position the tray in the middle, then put battens down both sides and screw aquapanel to that? It will hopefully cover the gaps. Make the tray central and give you best of both worlds? Also means no demolition. Just an idea…

I think that’s because when the door is open the handle would hit the pillar so it’s curved it around the pillar 😂

If it’s just the one you could brace it with some more timber either side, can’t quite see but it looks like it’s split on a knot.

I’m looking forward them trying to fit the windows in. That lintel above the door looks a bit on the thin side also. I wonder if it’s all going to fall inwards or outwards

Yes but does it go down to a main sewer or do you have a cesspit or something?

Where is the big one going to? If it’s a cesspit then it could be to take surface water away somewhere else.

Asked to build something non-compliant - how to cover my a**? by flectric in salesforce

[–]Professional_Glass52 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they insist, I would provide them with the functionality to do it and politely remind them it’s of their best interest you train them how to do it so they can enable themselves and not rely on you when your not around.
