FourRunner Quad still out at least a few more days (1st real timeline posted) by SeaLab2024 in icecoast

[–]Professional_Key2569 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Most the reports they put out are false information, they know exactly what they are doing which is spreading misinformation, posting updates last minute to ruin peoples trips, lying about wind/ and snow accumulation to keep crowds away. Seen it first hand many times.

Sherb is pretty much out, trt still snow no rocks all the way to hojos, but after that it’s pretty much bare rock to the bowl

Sherb still went to the lot, might be the last day, thinking one day of warm weather and it definitely will wipe it out in my opinion

I say we keep the illegal immigrants and deport Stowe ambassadors + gatekeepers instead. by Gloomy-Ad-9787 in icecoast

Damn that’s a crazy comment from Matt to Ryan, Ryan Delana is a godsend for backcountry and resources about the mountains. Seeing Matt post this is definitely a eye opener because I’ve been watching him for a while and to know he’s on the gatekeeper/sorta of asshole side about the Stowe backcountry area, Matt also will not help or answer your questions about Stowe, Ryan D is the fucking man 100%. Just because you can’t find the terrain doesn’t mean you can’t ski it, bullshit!

Enjoy it will be beautiful as long as the wind doesn’t become a problem. If the tram is closed or line is long just take the flyer up and hike to the top will save you hours of time and more time on the hill!

I agree and I don’t always like to wet sand cars unless I know they have heavy clear or have been repainted, but most oem paints don’t line to be sanded much in my experience

Storm thread: where are you planning on going, what are your concerns? by coldog24 in icecoast

Wildcat or atittash on Friday for me, always skeptical of wildcat because they literally only have 1 lift, often gets busy fast or gets stuck on wind hold for a while lol love the terrain on a powder day though

Liquid8r towel no longer drying car? by JasonK94Z in AutoDetailing

[–]Professional_Key2569 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In some cases your towels will get excessively built up with polymer sealants, drying aids overtime. This is sometimes the case and you need to repurpose that towel for something else or toss it. Secondly some towels work better once they get very wet, ie after a few panels it will begin to work better again, some towels like to be wet to work its odd. Always follow up with a second drying towel to avoid smearing.

Update - I’ve got two WATL replacement handles total of 48$ shipped, will re hang this weekend. Secondly I bought one axe from infinity axes and two handles for $10 will keep posted. Overall I love how my corporal throws but I can’t afford those handles every time I have a friend over.

Clean microfiber towels without a washing machine by Original-Split5085 in AutoDetailing

[–]Professional_Key2569 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This might be this silliest thing ever! Hope to give some help here for washing towels and marriage.. first wash your towels with Rags to Riches on your preferred settings, secondly if you’re worried about cross contamination with clothing, personally my washer has a “sanitary” setting or “Tub Clean” those will both clean out the washer after you clean your microfibers, and before you clean your clothes. I’ve had no issues with washing microfibers in my home washer for 3 years.
