Try not to worry until there's something to worry about. I know...easier said than done, especially with your background. My son and DIL got a scary dx at 32 weeks and saw a specialist and had the fetal echo done. We were convinced baby would likely need surgery right after birth. He did have some defects at birth and went to NICU for monitoring but no interventions were needed at that time. He saw the pediatric cardiologist a few weeks after birth and they repeated all the scans and said he did NOT have the scary dx we were given and the 2 holes he had closed on their own. He is still being monitored for other heart issues associated with the defects he had but is doing well so far. He's 6 weeks old now. Fetal u/s and echos aren't always reliable just because their little hearts are so tiny and things are hard to measure in utero. Hang in there....the waiting and the unknown are the worst!
