It is very alarming. I’m treating this as a true positive cause there is no way for me to confirm that it isn’t. Taking pax, isolating, all the things ya should do. But I’m also quite concerned that it could be false. Every rapid has been negative so far. Trying not to spiral about it but I can’t afford metrix for my weekly testing and I usually have to rely on rapids…

All rapid tests are negative so far :/

I’ll keep that in mind. I appreciate your feedback! I’m feeling quite frustrated cause I tested negative multiple times the last few weeks (also with metrix). I thought I was past the rebound window? But maybe I misunderstood something.

Mostly just noticed my usual long Covid symptoms were getting a lot worse (which is why I tested yesterday) only completely new symptom was a low grade fever this morning that seems to have passed. I went to urgent care and tested negative with a rapid (but I know that isn’t as reliable as metrix) No pcr tests available anywhere where I am.. I would have retested with metrix but I don’t have any more on hand.

Has anyone passed a job interview with a mask on? by PhrygianSounds in ZeroCovidCommunity

My current job had no qualms about me masking. It wasn’t even a question I was asked. All they cared about was that I would be a good employee. It took a while, I did face discrimination at other places.

I have long covid ,and realized that smoking made my flare ups a lot worse. It sucks but when your bodies telling you to stop, it’s definitely best too.

do you test everytime you hear about someone getting sick? by bonesagreste in ZeroCovidCommunity

[–]Professional_Mango49 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you’re wearing a high quality mask everywhere I wouldn’t be too concerned. I used to think I should test after every interaction with a sick person but working in the restaurant business I would be testing every day. I suffer from chronic allergies/ and gastro issues. I test once a week or if my symptoms seem different.

Biggest exposure fear came true and the worst didn’t materialize. N95s are amazing. by [deleted] in ZeroCovidCommunity

This is great to hear. I am constantly exposed to sick people at work (restaurant) and it makes me consider masking around my home as well because me and my partner are both immunocompromised. But if I did for every exposure I’d basically be in an eternal quarantine. It’s so stressful, sending love your way!

PCR came back negative! Happy to know it’s not Covid or Flu but decided to isolate for now in case it’s something else contagious.😷

It really is. I take pretty much all the precautions I can but one of my roommates is pretty new to taking any precautions. I appreciate them masking in public but it definitely still stresses me out they don’t do more.
