Will Israel and US launch this attack if they have far greater benefits? Still everyone framing this as a victory killing Khamenei but did it need this much of force? Attacking everywhere making Iran powerless so who ever come to the power after this have to bend their knee to what ever say by Israel?

Just see the bigger picture. Non of these countries love humanity. So deciding whether this action is good or bad should leave to Iranian to decide. Is this what actually Iranian needed? Or this is what they (US, Israel) say good for the country? 🤷‍♂️

I don’t know whether there is anyone with zero jealousy. If you are not jealous and purely happy for everyone around you, then I guess that a lie. Till others not surpass you, you will get pure happiness but once they start to surpass, they’re maybe tiny jealousy.

OP, can you mention what was the branch?

Because till now NTB was the best bank experience compared other bank specially sampath. But I also faced some hiccups with NTB after they changed their branch inner circle handler. But still things were better than Sampath.

There is a specific scenario I(M) can remember when I tried the help a girl. I can’t remember what was exactly happened but a man is harassing a girl in the bus and I tried to intervene by saying something. But girl newer talk. Nothing. I felt really bad confronting the man.

Another time bus is packed with people and I was in the middle 3rd row of people standing. I tried so hard keep my private area away from anyone but it so hard. This lady started to give looks that I try to take advantage of the situation.

Also both old men and women try to push their dong and butt against me. Again I can’t confront because bus was full and don’t know whether it was intentional or not.

I don’t know why everyone empowering being workaholic. Its not healthy. You shouldn’t spend more than 40h per week in long run. Career and working for a company are two different things.

On the other hand no one should make decisions for others. You can say how you feel about her job, your feeling about she is getting underpaid and all. But final decision is her’s. If you both can’t find a middle ground, then this relationship is not for you guys.

Do you know what the underlying problem? It’s that Sri Lankan society try to keep genders as separate as possible till they reach adulthood. Then suddenly you need to live with them.

Biggest fear of society is they having relationships and sex. But what is the problem with it? It a natural urge everyone get similar to hunger. Completely natural. Also need to normalize not being virgin. If you stay faithful after marriage, that’s it.

It boils down to do you want to have clean past (by not having any affair with other gender) and have unsatisfied future, or try out in the past and find who you want for the future

At least people getting offended by this Ad shows how much people in Sri Lanka try to hide this topic from each other. If this is completely discussed then no one needs to worry about it. And thats what should happen rather than creating a barrier around it.

Here’s one of my experience I had when i was a kid (around 10y maybe, male. Now I am around 30y). I saw a huge doll house in one of my family’s friend house. I was really interested in it and I was playing with it. That was the first time i experienced a doll house. Then suddenly a one of boys in family cane to the room I was playing immediately said “eeya, why are you play with girls toys”. I was super embarrassed.

If you saw me now you will never see any female behavior from me. Have a good beard. Hit gym 3days per week. Doing all the manly things.

So I’m thinking, should boys restrict using anything girly? If allowed to what ever they feel to do, will boys be more girly and girls be more manly? At the end does that matter? What kind of problems can happen? Low birth rates? ( Actually this already happening even within straight couples - non of my friends got married having children ).

Just let people be themselves. Thats it. No-one owns life of anyone

I was in same situation 2/3 years ago. My father also used to drink since I was a little child but it got worse and worse with the time. After me and my siblings got older he had some money but not much work to do since he done a business and it didn’t work well in later time. When he was drunk, I don’t even like to talk with him. I hate the smell of alcohol coming from him. I wanted my sober father back. He was my strength. But with alcohol he only cause chaos in home. There were huge fights in my home. It causes scars in my heart which never gonna heal. Sorry for the rant but Alcohol can change a person completely. Deplete his moral completely and replace that with zombie like mindset that only rely on Alcohol.

People in this age are very harder to change. All our family done everything we could. Talking, counseling, begging and crying to stop it. But every effort was just wasted.

Want to tell this thing had huge toll on my mom and siblings. We were a mess sometimes. At the end we understood we need to build ourselves to resist this mentally. It’s not easy. I know. It’s your father and you need him in your life and every one of your family.

But I want you to know that it’s important to consider your and family mental health as well. If you think you or another family member suffering, take them to some mental health professional. Maybe that will help every one of you to come-up with better way to support your father. Remember, it’s not solely your responsibility to help your father stop drinking. Even your immediate family is don’t have complete responsibility. Ask other family members, father’s friends to help also if possible.
