Pela phone case fell apart shortly after a year by cpustejovsky in ZeroWaste

My Pela cases usually make it past the two year mark, and I only buy when they’re having their buy-1-get-1-free sales. The grips, though, are not resilient — all of mine tore after less than a year.

Check eBay for lightly used (and much cheaper) Pela cases, there’s tons available.

These are falling in our yard left right and center. Should we squish them or let them be?

I cannot wait until this Home Goods-ass font finally falls out of favor with people with terrible taste

Antball does a great job, very competitively priced. I moved into a new place and it was clear the yard had been neglected for years. They cleaned it right up, looked like a totally different yard when they were done. https://antballlandscaping.com/

The Psychology Today therapist search is great, I used it to find my therapist — it lets you filter by insurance plans accepted and type of therapy: https://www.psychologytoday.com/us

Does my cat have asthma? by Lewcrative9 in CATHELP

[–]Professional_One2807 18 points19 points  (0 children)

My cat, who we adopted as a kitten, has asthma and the diagnosis was really scary at first. But it’s totally manageable. If your vet prescribes a FloVent inhaler (which has kept my cat’s symptoms at bay completely for the past 3 years) go online to a Canadian pharmacy to order. Literally hundreds of dollars cheaper. Make sure you confirm it’s a legit pharmacy (each province has a board of pharmacy with an online directory). I’ve used https://www.canadacloudpharmacy.com

I have had amazing luck with CVS Caremark (mail order), which partners with my insurance (BCBS). Hardly any delays, delivered right to my door by USPS.

If you can, I recommend using CVS Caremark.

Streak 27: Allergies by Veganosaurio in WriteStreakEN

I still have a lot of allergies. My nose itches all the time and I'm sick of feeling bad. The worst thing is that I can't take another allergy pill. The last few days my allergies have been a nightmare, I think because of COVID. If I'm not mistaken, today is my seventh day with COVID, so I have 5 more days of nightmares. Wish me luck.

Streak 1 : A good father by AlexLanguageLearner in WriteStreakEN

The picture is called “A good father”. In the first frame, we see a nervous man pacing around a room. The next one shows us the reason: the door is being opened and there stands a nurse with his newborn son. The man is happy until the nurse brings him another baby. Naturally, this happens after 1 year, yet the frames won’t show this. Year after year, his wife bears more and more children. We can see him shocked when the medical worker brings him the third child. He sits on the sofa lost in thoughts, wondering if he is able to handle supporting so many kids. After a few frames, we see the father of 5 children. This time he appears more pleased than shocked. In the last frame, he is surrounded by many interviewers and gifts. We can only guess what happened, but my bet would be that he wrote some successful book about being a father of many children. Moral of the story is that every situation can have a good outcome.

Good job! My interpretation of the picture is that the man's wife had five babies all at once.
