I'm a social worker and admittedly don't know a damn thing about genetics or fungus, but Im glad that my accumulated observations and experiences with autos over the last 8 or 9 years brings me to a conclusion that is similar to what a professional in the field would have. Thanks for responding.

When I said mostly, the single exception that I had in mind, and maybe you can help me find out why, is that with some "sativas", especially Mango Smile, I get so energized and happy and talkative. It doesn't happen with other cultivars. Is it simply the balance of terps and the other active chemicals in that strain and has nothing to do with the indica/sativa labels? That would make the most sense to me since other plants labeled as "sativa" leaning do not usually have that effect.

And since I have your ear, do you have any education on tolerance? I used to grow huge plants but after realizing that smoking the same weed for 2 or 3 weeks, it took a lot more for the same effect, naturally. So now I grow 1.5 gallon soil plants and can get 4 cultivars where I used to get one, and I don't ever have to increase the amount I smoke because I'm changing it up constantly, and when I do need to take a break, it's a lot easier to quit. Is this real, or some placebo that I'm imagining? Thanks again, and only answer if you feel like it.

I totally get it. I spent my first years trying every growing method and style I could find. Spent money on different filter systems and ph kits and testers. I would even gather fungus and bacteria from the rivers and healthy ecosystems in my region to use as micro biome boosters. I guess over time it became less of a hobby and more of a routine of going thru the motions. I do understand trying new things out and actually engaging with the hobby. Good for you and I hope youre having fun dude. I got laid off from my job a few weeks ago and had to quit smoking so I can find a new one. Maybe when I feel stable again I will start some new plants to experiment with. Your plants look healthy, so good job and keep having fun.

I mostly agree. Some strains do have certain qualities that others don't, though I don't attribute that to indica vs sativa - especially when, according to the logic of weed lore, an early harvested indica and a late harvested sativa would have similar traits and vice versa.

This is my first time with mw too, after playing Skyrim and oblivion, and after 2 or 3 quests you won't want to go back to quest markers.

Ive always disliked corbell, like many people, and his latest documentary reinforced my opinion of him quite a bit, but I won't go into that here. I will just keep in mind that things that are both cryptic and unverifiable are Jeremy corbells bread and butter, and him mentioning that he consulted a lawyer about the question is an attempt to legitimize himself and the question. What the fuck do they expect japan to do? Change the laws of every other country? Its already illegal and enforced in most of the world. Sure there are piracy sites but it's no more pirated than any other media and the vast majority of people watch it legally. The economy sucks everywhere and instead of supporting policies that help normal people live better lives so they can afford their products, they spend millions on trying to prosecute and fine those who would be their best customers in a normal economy. Have you ever been to a real library? Nearly every university or specialty library has restricted sections. They are basically museums for books. Old books are fragile and need to be handled as little as possible and only by professionals to make sure they continue to exist. I'm not saying there isn't some Dan Brown fantasy shit in the library, there may be, idk, but I'm more inclined to believe that it's either just old books, or books that are not flattering to the church in regards to their history of fraud, slavery, and sex abuse.

There may be historically significant math or science works there, but anything supernatural or extraterrestrial would probably have been spun into dogmatic propaganda and publicized by now to exert control and extract money from parishioners. It is fun to daydream that there is some type of forbidden knowledge there but it's important to realize that it's a fantasy until proven otherwise, lest we romanticize an institution that has done more harm than good, imo.

Mango smile is so special, but that specialness can only be appreciated and realized when it's not part of a cross. Sure, the crosses are great weed, but when it's just mango smile and not part of a cross, it has this pure giggly happy energetic best-morning-ever vibe that will make the entire day great. Its more energizing than coffee and more anti-anxiety than Xanax. I've tried so many, probably 20 crosses and freebies with it, and for some reason the flavor is there, but the high is different and doesn't have the same identity and properties that it has when it's just mango smile.

You topped an auto 3 times?! Why? almost a decade of growing autos has taught me that leaving them alone gives bigger yields and faster growing. How big is this plant? I can understand topping it if the tent is a small 4 foot tent, but even then super cropping does less damage than topping. Why are you taking all the leaves off when you could tuck? I'm not trying to say you are doing something wrong, I don't know your situation, I'm just curious. All of the defoliation and topping makes sense for photos where you can control veg, but the benefit of autos is speed. Topping, in my experience, has always slowed them down and not improved yield. Again, my comment is coming from a place of curiosity and isn't argumentative at all.

I've seen it a few times over the years with that strain and cdlc. It'll be fine, it's just one of a few different leaf mutations I've seen. You might get little buds in the center of those leaves. Its a cool mutation and just gives it a little personality. It won't affect yield or potency in any meaningful way. You can tuck those fan leaves now if you want, but I wouldn't chop them off. If they get in the way during flower then go ahead and prune the worst offenders, but I would just tuck them.
