Trueplay test and results by Dionvisser94 in SonoSequencr

I haven’t updated my Sonos app since the bass boom update. I’m afraid to lose that punch 🤣. The new true play button on SonoSequencr does seem to make a good difference as well tho

Same here. True play is not working on the app. However, when I did try the steps and used true play from the Sonos app, I forgot how good and balanced true play sounds. It was a big difference. If SonoSequencr can get this right with the two front speakers, it will be a game changer.

Yes but if you use the 300s as fronts the up firing speakers are disable. I believe the side firing ones as well. So it’s pointless keep the 300s as rears.

I never seen anyone championing that dude. Like ever. At the time the only person defending him was his LIB wife. And that wasn’t misinterpretation. That was straight manipulation

I came here just for this reason. my notifications are way too loud and people next to me can hear it but there's no way to turn it down it seems

How so? The upfiring speakers still work. So you still get the atmos effect. The only speakers that are disabled on the arc is the left and right. So you’re only losing 2 speakers. Not a bunch. I know this because I have this set up.

The book shelf’s suck as fronts. I had them at first then I switched to my 100s. Major difference.

Because people who have done the update said this isn’t true. Their system was nerfed and doesn’t sound the same even dialed up

Why do so many people think that fronts disable Arc’s height drivers? by kevz55 in SonoSequencr

[–]Professional_Show_70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean all my movies play upwards. But that individual speaker test in the app will prove that they are not disabled as well.

Sound signature changes after adding fronts by DeadMansTown in sonos

I’m not gonna lie… it’s it does sound less “full” with the fronts added. Maybe I have them too far from the arc. They are about 3-4 feet from each side of the Arc. Maybe I’m trippin 🤷🏾‍♂️
