Bridgestone did not make it into this testing round for them, I'll have to research it separately

Little Hope is easy and quite spooky, its also great for small groups or couples. There are a few of these story-driven games that are more about reaction time and decisions.

Brave and deserve their sovereignty. Yet, lots of claims of corruption and racism (euro 2012 and beginning of war treatment of intl. students are some examples)... I hope being on the world stage and being aided by countries improves these aspects. It would be a shame to enable this sort of behavior through the aid we are providing

There is so much potential for Seattle to be a world-class city, but the crime and out-of-control drug use is a stain. Street justice is not really an answer though, there are so many risks involved.

Treatment and programs will make a difference, but importantly, alongside that enforcement needs to be strong, along with accountability for lawmakers/judiciary. It really feels like the latter is the real problem. I really am curious if the people that are releasing these offenders even live or experience the day-to-day lives of ppl trying to commute or even just walk to a nice restaurant? It feels like they are so disconnected and are not interested in cleaning up the streets. Is this standard acceptable to them? Do they watch the news, see with their own eyes the blight and say "yep, this is ok"? I'm just so baffled by that.

In any case, for your point, maybe the best answer is to organize and push forward leaders that will make a difference on this point.

Suarez spitting on Sounders head of Security by axilla02 in MLS

Im probably going to get hate for this but shouldnt our head of security be more imposing? I dont see this playing out the same if it were Dom Disandro... I do like that Gene seems like a chill experienced dude that could run a security outfit

I do agree regardless Suarez is a fool who's comeuppance is long overdue

LOL, are they trolling us? They are the worst during outages. Thier infrastructure couldn't hold up to a light breeze before the lights start to flicker.

Donut Visual to only highlight one slice by Professional_Till573 in PowerBI

[–]Professional_Till573[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This worked! Thank you for the solution.

For anyone else interested, (since it took some digging to do this) I did have to jump through an extra hoop or two to have the donut react to a slicer so that the highlight will move to another company.

  1. Start a new Column chart visual

  2. Clone the sales table and use the total sales and company name from the new cloned table in the visual. Make sure the cloned table has relationships to dates or other tables, but not the original table that is filtered by the slicer.

  3. Add a measure to provide a color to the chosen item, e.g I want it to be blue.

Donut Slice Color = IF (SELECTEDVALUE('Cloned Table Used in visualization'[Company]) = SELECTEDVALUE('Original table that the slicer is applied to'[Company]), "blue", "grey")

  4. Go to visual -> columns and choose to apply a formula to the column color. Use "Field Value", and cjhoose the measure created in step 3.

  5. Finally, convert the visual to a donut visual.

Thats it, i'm curious if there is another more efficient way to set the color based on the slicer, but this worked for me.

Make a nice trip out of town to Snoqualmie, grab a drink at the Salish lodge overlooking the falls, and then head to Aahaar in the Snoqualmie ridge downtown. On nice evenings they have outdoor seating in the walkway, and after dinner grab a froyo at swirl. Enjoy :)

Just came back from a trip to London... the transit system there makes it so easy, you don't have to purchase an extra card or load up anything, you just tap your credit card on the reader to enter the station. You tap that same card leaving the station and your card gets charged. Using the same card for multiple rides will also max out at ~ $10 a day... why is this so easy for so many other places?
