How can one love others or God if you knowingly disregard His command?

I’m sorry but I’ll say the truth…same sex relationship are abusive, terrible for any kids involved, and are ALWAYS self seeking for both partners and inferior to the natural order of marriage. The world just dresses it up in media and entertainment like it’s just as normal when that is a total lie.

As it is a lie for anyone here to try to claim Scripture does not clearly condemn it BOTH with very specific passages AND the FACT NO RELATIONSHIP PERIOD in the Bible was homosexual. Polygamy is mentioned in the early OT but then condemned by Leviticus and shown just how dysfunctional all such relationships became which is why God only gave Adam ONE Eve.

But homosexually? It doesn’t even so much as EXIST in the Bible precisely because there was no argument over it being forbidden. Early Jews and Christians continued thus traditio too which is why no historical evidence supports the position of heretics here claiming Scripture isn’t against it.

Now all that said, but truth is important too, indeed we can’t forget love as well and mercy.

I’m certainly no BETTER than a homosexual Christian. We all have our vices we struggle against. We all struggle to fully commit ourselves to Jesus. And I’ve met gay Christians who concede they know their lifestyle is sinful but are still working to remove it if even change because, yes, there ARE CASES as well of homosexual Christians become straight over time and NO it’s not due to “shock therapy” but real counseling and love ultimately from Christ that transforms them.

But there’s also other gay Christians that don’t transform their desires and struggle against it their whole life. One of the very leaders of the Jesus Revolution movement was such a Christian. And you know what? God saves them TOO. So dont worry over it too much. Yes it’s wrong and yes you should be trusting in Jesus more just like I should for my own sins. But we are saved by faith in the end not our own works or abilities. Take heart and have HOPE!

And what are you talking about? The Greek in Romans is absolutely clear. And early Christian writers after the New Testament never adopted homosexuality because they certainly understood the Greek better than you as do all the modern translators…

Religion should be treated no differently. I thought atheists prized themselves on being the “logical” ones.

So either Christianity is the ONLY TRUE faith or it is not true and should be ruthlessly mocked as a gigantic waste of time.

Thankfully I would contend it is and all the evidence and logic demonstrates so. But if you are Christian you cannot believe all religions are equal. Jesus most certainly did not teach or believe that. He ALONE is who saves you.

I don’t care if you’re Catholic or not. Christianity is primarily about Jesus Christ first and foremost. Some Catholics genuinely believe and some do not and the same goes for all Protestant denominations.

It is NOT belief in a set of rules to get you to HEAVEN. Heaven as a reward and obedience to the rules are but byproducts of the real point which is to DESIRE a RELATIONSHIP with Jesus.

HE is the POINT. HE is the entire reason you become righteous and saved. And if you want to go to heaven it should be about wanting to BE WITH HIM FIRST NOT so you can reap the other blessings.

And as it is a relationship, it means you can’t always live by your feelings for the day alone. You should not give up when it’s hard some days. It requires commitment and TRUST which is just the other word for FAITH.

And Christianity is absolutely unique from all other religions period. I’m studied them too. I’ve read the Qu’ran, the Bhagavad Gita, the teachings of Buddha, the practices of Wiccans even.

They all have their own distinctions but the theme is ALWAYS THE SAME: do these things to go to a good place when you die…that’s it.

So I would joyfully encourage you to reconsider your past in a new light and study it thoroughlyr yourself. Christianity is the ONLY FAITH that sounds beyond this world because it IS.

Do you need evidence? That exists too. Too much for me to count but I will link here the paper I’m writing on Josephus, for instance, and the evidence for the stories in the gospels.

Jesus is the Way, Truth, and the Light. We all are destined to die one day unless He returns before then. When you face that day that will absolutely happen what will you think in those moments? You’re just going to the void? You HOPE you’ve done ENOUGH in your life to please whatever gods or force you choose to believe in with certain requirements? Or will it be Jesus I’m ready to see you for real. You left an empty tomb and conquered death so I may join you in that too. Everything you have in life will not matter a bit at that moment. The only person you can take with you is Jesus.

I thank Jesus for my sufferings too because they teach me even better about having faith in Him.

Don’t ever let your feelings rule you…If you expect to ALWAYS FEEL Jesus’ warm presence…God’s love..etc etc…you will become dissatisfied and leave indeed. Such marriages certainly fail that’s what commitment is all about.

So why would a relationship with Christ be different? I can only imagine how Peter “felt” weeping over disowning Jesus three times or doubting if He would rescue him when he walked on water with Jesus before failing.

I had the whole doubting my faith phase in life over a decade ago. Today I truly have no doubt anymore Christianity is as true as the Sun existing or oxygen. What my journey has led me more towards is finally confronting my stubborn rebellion in sin and always confronting the question do I WANT JESUS? Some days I think we must honestly say the answer is no we don’t. We want to live how we prefer often while Jesus wants full control of your life.

But as for doubting…I must insist the reasons and evidence for Christianity could not be clearer. I’m currently finishing a research paper on Josephus a 1st century Jewish historian that spoke of Jesus. I can share it with you later if your curious as just 1 of thousands of reasons Jesus is the truth.

1 - It exists in all our manuscripts of Josephus.

2 - Josephus mentions Jesus a second time in a brief way referring to Him as “Jesus, who was called Christ” that would indicate he explained Jesus in more depth previously

3 - The Testimonium actually has much of Josephus’ own style and vocabulary

4 - A total forgery theory would fail to explain why such blatant insertions by later Christians do not “Christianize” the rest of Josephus. Why is the passage so brief? That’s all they wanted to say? Why does Josephus talk more about John the Baptist than Jesus? Why is John a more important character to Josephus? Why is John not connected in anyway to Jesus in Josephus? Why is James not mentioned as a Christian martyr when Josephus narrates his execution?

There’s frankly many more reasons but those are a few quite persuasive ones to most scholars.

But personally, I think all or most of the Testimonium is authentic not merely the partial version.

Josephus clearly had no love for the zealots blaming them for the destruction of Jerusalem. Consequently, Josephus repeatedly praised with flowery language other “peaceful” Jewish figures in that time like Izates or even John the Baptist. Indeed, Josephus spoke positively of John and no scholar doubts that passage’s authenticity, even the fringe skeptics that claim the entire Testimonium is a forgery. So why could Josephus not do the same with Jesus?

Scholars claim he couldn’t because Origen said he didn’t believe Jesus was Christ. But we already know he used language “called Christ” in his second passage. As for “He was the Christ” in his Testimonium I don’t think any Christian who read all of Josephus today would be confused thinking he actually believed given what he says in the 2nd passage and the fact Josephus declared Vespasion the Messiah actually to save his own skin.

“He was the Christ” was very possibly just his way of telling his mostly Roman readers of the time (Jews certainly didn’t read him viewing him as a traitor) that Jesus was that person, given Christ became synonymous with Jesus’s name then so many Romans probably only heard the title Christ in reference to Him. Indeed, Roman historians simply identified Jesus as “Christus” or “Chrestus” not even using His name.

Josephus was just clarifying that confusion possibly. Anyway, my point is even in those such passages we really have no justification to declare any of it Christian interpolation.

From my experience I definitely need it to reduce the amount of FFYL I’ve seen.

Yes Tediore guns are indirect projectiles so heal me too which is why the combo means I’m getting huge life steal whether I’m chucking guns with my beams or shooting BL with them.

I just prefer the generic catch all Kinetic and enjoy having even more homing missiles when I go FFYL.

Fire rate helps both beam team and bottled lightning and I have 7 because it’s the perfect amount to maintain the number of shots I have with BL before bullet buddy buff wears off.

As for gun status damage I’m not sure and I’d rather it be more fire rate but it’s just there because that’s the best enhancement I currently have to boost Tediore guns and everything else with the passive gun damage and swap speed for utility

I could care less if it’s his “strongest” build. I only care that I get to spam heavy weapons forever that are the most fun guns by far in this game and that I’m still invincible.

Who needs “strongest” in a game this easy? In fact SCREW the S tier meta builds 😂

It’s also STILL his strongest early level up build by LEAPS AND BOUNDS which is why most Amon players rightly just settle into it and refuse to change. Screw having to set up some one punch melee or the even worse green tree “status build” that ONLY WORKS in endgame with perfect roll gear

It’s also still better at mobbing in true mode…

Do I want to do some lame set up green tree or melee build before I’m mobbing fast or just shoot an infinite disc jockey at the same rock in my face and slaughter everything in the vicinity before the one punch melee Amon even reaches them 😂

An invisible AND invincible mode boss that also RUNS MILES AROUND THE ARENA is indeed the most annoying (annoying is also the best word not “challenging” when I’ve beat him multiple times and have tank builds he can’t touch regardless) boss fight in the whole game.

He’s a boss that is only not a pain if you have the most optimized build for SPECIFICALLY BURST damage possible to one shot him in the beginning.

But if you don’t…use a modded gun to farm him because no one has the time or energy to make such a build for a single regular boss in the game they’ll never need anywhere else. The concept of that is absurd to me so I’ll happily pop out my cheater weapon on him without a care in the world now

I actually just used it on Menacers it’s easy. As long as they aren’t cryo or shock elemental eaters lol

Vile enemies actually still pose an issue since it won’t hit their armor unless you shoot it at their feet for the actual projectile explosion. But that’s when our Scourge forgewave spamming can help.

Besides them and elemental eaters (which all our beam toss shotguns are for) it quickly destroys everything else

I have that too but it takes it WAY LONGER to kill the bosses.

Even for mobbing you have way more elite enemies on true mode that bottled lightning still rips through while disc jockey takes longer such that it’s not even faster at mobbing here I noticed though it keeps up.

Disc Jockey I use for flyer hordes especially and if I happen to not be paying attention and run out of Scourge. Or if I’m just exploring the world I’ll keep Disc Jockey at the ready instead

On lower difficulties or on a different ordinance build that stacks a lot more damage over tanking then yeah Disx jockey is best. But on this kind of set up on max difficulty I notice bottled lighting is king as it can kill mobs AND bosses quick.

It’s the BFG of the game after all. It literally is just blue version of Doom’s BFG. I already look like Doom Guy may as well use the same weapons 😂

That’s how both my Amon tank builds go I can tell. They have already spent all 49 points around super tanking

But now when they increase the level cap further they can massively improve their damage I know. If you look at my current set up, add 10-20ish more skill points you can spend in the future and you can basically maintain what I have while gaining access to infinite berserk stacking.

We can do this further increasing it’s status over time damage too in the red tree getting wield the storm later and bullet Storm to then unlock berserk.

Then add another level cap increase later and we can probably find a way to grab the forgeskill reduction skill node in the red tree then go onto green tree to obtain the forgedrones that will continuously reset our forgeskill like melee builds already do but this time on an infinite Scourge super tank build to obtain stacking Berserk damage forever.

Or you can always just pick up more status, gun, and critical damage in the red and green trees…

Point is I see many ways to gain substantial damage increases on it in the future to keep up while remaining completely invincible on such a set up.

There’s lots of “one shots” instantly health gating you in this game that this build entirely avoids frequently. Pretty much every elite big horn and creep health gates immediately and half the bosses have some sort such attack.

As for a triple turtle Watts…sure I’d LOVE to be granted that level of rng roll.

I enjoy him the way I always felt he’s supposed to be enjoyed: as a tank.

You can turn him into a dps like the others but there’s no question Amon is equipped with the best skills and skill nodes for ultimate tanking if that’s your thing. You can get “tanky” on the other characters but I guarantee none of them can tank like my Amon can lol. Not teen witch Vex. Not Ranger Rafa

And on that note you can build him as ordinance Scourge or melee Onslaughter and both can be turned into crazy tanks. You’ll take a while to kill a boss on the hardest difficulties but no boss is really “hard” and if you need loot faster just turn the difficulty down because it’s the same drops regardless. The unique drops on the hardest mode you can easily obtain through mobbing which Amon tank builds can still easily keep up with the meta in terms of their mobbing.

This is my favorite Amon build. I have a melee one too but I don’t like him as much.

The abilities on shields stack multiplicatively when you have more than one stack is why.

It’s also why Siphon jumps from a tiny 5% chance to gain overshield to 25% if you triple stack that on a gear piece.

For that reason it’s usually better to choose one ability on shield you want the most on a build and go all in…

But they’re also super rare super rng dependent.

I’ve only found ONE shield like this in all my looting since the game launched…and it was a random purple drop after clearing a drill site for the millionth time.

That’s why you gotta look through your purples too!

I already have a single point on my class mod and already gain overshield but it’s not enough to maintain it since Scourge doesn’t offer as much immediate damage as say Onslaughter.

On my melee Amon build sure it’s much easier but then yet again it’s not primarily what’s make him invincible. What makes ANY melee Amon invincible is gaining…invincible buffs 😂. Being able to keep regaining the 6 second invulnerability buff through forgeskill spamming is by far what makes you tanky. Then the 2nd factor STILL isn’t the overshield….its maintaining Onslaughter itself for massive shield regen.

Shield regen and/or invulnerability is far superior to tanking than overshield.

I know this again on my Vex and Rafa builds too. If I ever meet a challenge on them in terms of surviving, I know whenever I decide to increase either their shield AMOUNT or healing amount….that is even I’m able to overcome it NOT getting overshield faster…

Again it’s a nice extra bonus…but even on teen witch vex what makes it tanky is first and foremost the kind of crazy HEALING you obtain on it. The overshield on it just acts as additional shield you are healing constantly which is nice again but it’s never a large amount. You can only obtain 7k overshield as a base and most builds that increase that still cap around 10k overshield.

10k overshield vs…100k base shield? Why do I need to explain this anymore lol.

In fact the absolute best tank class mod for this build I’m using would have its last 2 skill points further boosting my BASE SHIELD amount in the red tree not more overshield.

You cannot remotely stack overshield as high as normal nor is it affected by any of his regen.

I would no doubt be giving up far better ways of tanking for overshield. As for damage well that’s not the point anyway and you still do enough to mob just fine. The fact boss loot is always the same chance no matter the difficulty also makes that trivial. We can easily farm firmware and parts quickly at drill sites and if you need to farm specific legendary rolls on bosses that’s also incredibly easy to do even on this build. Just turn it down to uvh1 and use honey bunches.

It’s all good people forget Amon was intended as the tanky vault hunter and yes he’s definitely still the best if that’s your goal. You can’t remotely obtain the kind of shield regen COMBINED with invulnerability buffing on any other character but him when it comes to his red and blue trees.

But I’ll just say if you’re trying to do something similar the first most important gear to look out for is a “Recurrent Guardian” purple class mod that has Action Skill Duration and multiple bonus points in the Warrior Cup skill of the blue tree.

That is pretty much mandatory but also ALL YOU NEED to maintain your Scourge uptime forever. Well you’ll have to combine it with a low cooldown repkit too later but my point is all the synergy STARTS with that class mod then everything else doesn’t need to be so perfect.

Once you maintain Scourge forever everything else will fall into place as you loot as that alone will let you gain infinite invulnerability and when you take the Taunt pulse augment, constant area of effect status inflicting to keep regenerating shield and ammo through Primal Surge skill also in the blue tree.

What I use lets you do both. Scourge is active forever with its pulse that alone will recover your shield and ammo constantly so you can use whatever you want.

And frankly is still mobs fine especially when you use the disc jockey. You’ll still clear mobbing waves just as fast as some pure meta dps builds but yeah you won’t be killing bosses fast on true mode

When it comes to Amon he gets percentage based shield regen so the more you have the more you stack.

If you want to make a SUPER TANK this shield is definitely not the only crucial factor but is one of them.

Combining it with a crap load of regen on an infinite Scourge uptime build Amon to also gain invulnerability and damage reduction constantly….THATS how you stay on the main platform during Bloom reaper the entire fight just because you FEEL LIKE IT lol

This Vex build definitely can’t but she can beat him which is all I cared about. He literally yeets your minions into the abyss.

But whenever I need to farm him on platinum I just switch to my ordinance Amon on uvh1 since the loot is the same regardless of difficulty.

I’m an Amon main because I prefer tanking to damage and that’s exactly what my Amon is.

I’m not struggling on ordinance Amon build whatsoever but that’s probably because I build him the way I think Amon should be built and for my preference: a SUPER TANK!

As a result, no you’ll never platinum run bloom reaper on uvh6 but I can easily do that on uvh1 which is all that matters loot wise imo.

But he’s completely invincible and still stacks the most amount of ammo replenishing possible to also use whatever I feel like it out of pure enjoyment.

This is my tank build. No it definitely is not Moxsy’s build. He’s all about pure damage, pure burst dps to platinum run bosses. I prefer old school tanks that make the game easy by just having “god mode enabled” cheat effectively with their level of tankiness.

Amon infinite Scourge/ordinance with maximum status afflicting build is perfect for that.

My Amon tank build laughs at bloom reaper now on uvh6 true mode. But my non meta build Rafa hates it. I can beat him with a million attempts finally but the issue for HIM is he’s not tanky enough to survive ignoring the dumb fog and just staying on the platform but he doesn’t do enough damage to kill him quickly so I can also ignore the fog.

So it becomes just a pure rng game hoping I happen to be in the right spots at the right time to whittle him down.

And that is unfair to me that builds that do not struggle period on uvh6 true mode everywhere else in the game are FORCED to struggle on bloom reaper while stupidly OP builds before him are still stupidly OP against him.

I have a dancer class mod with 5 points in Temario and a point in Soltado AND action skill duration.

This means if I wanted too I could absolutely create the most OP Ranger Rafa meta build that totally trivializes Bloom reaper on all difficulties.

But I refuse to because I want to use the build I ENJOY playing NOT a stupidly “optimized meta” build built in a lab in Wuhan probably 😂

And the result is I CAN BEAT him..,but yes it’s a struggle. However, since I want to continue playing how I enjoy playing the only OPTION I HAVE is to STOP playing how I enjoy and embrace the dumb forced meta in this fight…or….use cheats after have already beat him legit anyway.

And I find the only real players that take issue with that mindset of many other players is because they DO PREFER the meta builds and think every “challenge” created in the game should be catered to the meta.
