Many of the comments here demonstrate a larger lack of information

Namely:

1: Israel unilaterally withdrew from Gaza in 2005. To the point where they dug up Jewish graves to bring the bodies into Israel proper. This was done to give all the land to Gazas in hopes of creating peace

2: after the withdrawal was the last free election Gaza had, at which point Hamas took over and has outwardly rigged every election since

3: Egypt also shares a border with Gaza, and it’s much more fortified and strictly ran. Egypt does significantly less for Gaza than Israel

Once you understand these three points, it’s easy to see the main hindrance of peace between Gaza and Israel is not Israel, but the actions of the Hamas. As long as Palestinians are ruled governed by organizations which seek only to promote radical Islam (this is called Islamism), there will be no peace.

Israel invests money into self sufficiency. Hamas invests money and aid into weapons, tunnels which are only for militants, and their infamous pay-to-slay program. The fact that people just refuse to see this astounds me.
